Shout Factory's MST3K Facebook page....
http://www.facebook.com/mysterysciencetheater3000
Thread:
You'll have to wait a little while for the announcement of MST3K Vol. XXIV, but let's have a little fun, see if you can predict the four episodes which will be included in the set...
After about 30 people mention the episodes, Shout Factory says:
No one has gotten all four correct... but they have been mentioned....
Torgo's edit: See Troy's Dad's post for the official episode list.

Just for kicks I went through the guesses and compared them with Travis' list. The following are ones that were guessed on FB but are also listed as likely on Travis' list. So, I think it's safe to say that we'll see at least one or two of these in the next set:
201 - Rocketship X-M 310 - Fugitive Alien I 318 - Fugitive Alien II 520 - Radar Secret Service 617 - The Sword and the Dragon 618 - High School Big Shot 620 - Danger! Death Ray 624 - Samson Versus The Vampire Women 817 - Horror of Party Beach 819 - Invasion of the Neptune Men 913 - Quest of the Delta Knight 1007 - Track of the Moon Beast
Here's to speculation!

I'd love to see this:
310 - Fugitive Alien I 318 - Fugitive Alien II 913 - Quest of the Delta Knight 1007 - Track of the Moon Beast
Half Joel, half Mike. A two parter that I've never seen and two of my favorite Mike episodes.
Johnny Longbow, a pee throwing wizard and Starwolf all in one set! Richard Kind as Wamthool in Delta Knights was so embarrassing to watch.

Hoping for some Bill. We've gone 4 sets without him.
Josh episodes are always a treat, too, but I suppose they aren't looking fairly likely.
And Fugitive Alien double feature FTW.

310 - Fugitive Alien I 318 - Fugitive Alien II 624 - Samson Versus The Vampire Women 913 - Quest of the Delta Knights
That Boxset would make me one happy Rama.

Got bored and looked at the comments. If I were to venture a guess based on the info we have, I'd say the next set will be...
Fugitive Alien Star Force: Fugitive Alien II The Sword and the Dragon Danger!! Death Ray
I genuinely believe the first two are a lock. S&D is a favorite of mine, and it seems like a simple one to get. Death Ray just sounds right.
But if I'm right, still no Bill.

Yeah, I want to see something from the SciFi era on the next set. It's been a long time.

I really want to see something from the Sci-Fi era as well. I would love to see Quest of the Delta Knights released definitely. *Fingers crossed*

It's a shame Delta Knights wasn't paired up with Last of the Wild Horses, so we'd get Dr. F, Frank, and Pearl in the theater all in one set. Toss in Hercules and the Captive Woman and you'd get one with Gypsy too. If Time Chasers wasn't already released, Eddie would have been the perfect cap to an alternate riffer set.
It's funny that both Joey the Lemur sketches are on volume 23, though.

Give that we now now the four titles, thanks to MST3Kinfo, can we change the title of the thread to "Vol XXIV Titles Announced!"?
310- FUGITIVE ALIEN — forklifts and all… 318- STAR FORCE – FUGITIVE ALIEN II — yes, the entire Bacchus III saga… 617- THE SWORD AND THE DRAGON — another of the Russo-Finnish trilogy comes to DVD… 624- SAMSON VS. THE VAMPIRE WOMEN — featuring Frank’s departure.
Hooray! Glad to see a double feature! I still want me my Track of the Moon Beast and Delta Knights, but perhaps in XXV. Happy to see an important episode included, with Frank's departure.

Took three out of four! Not bad!
Always good to have a milestone episode, so Sampson is welcome. But it's the fifth set in a row without poor Bill.

I know most of these episodes were "expected", but this is a GREAT, GREAT BOXSET, in my opinion!!! As I said on the official thread: That is awesome!!! 3 of my favorites and yet another Russo-Finnish addition!!! Great, great set! FA, FA2 and Sampson are three of my absolute all-time favorites! And Sword is a solid Russo-Finnish episode with some of the best host segments! I know everyone gets tired of this being said, but this is already ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOX SETS EVER!!!

That's a good set. That's a really good set.
And I got three out of four too. That's a new best for me. Much better then the 0 of 4 that I usually get.
No Sci-Fi though.
