March Contest! - If the gang wrote memoirs (Done)
« Thread Started on Mar 6, 2012, 3:02am »

During my re-reading of A Year at the Movies, I got to thinking: what if Tom Servo, not Kevin Murphy or Josh Weinstein (or *shudder* James Moore), wrote a book. What would it be entitled, and more importantly, what would it be about?

Considering the very wacky and expansive cast of the show over it's on-air history, one could probably assume each character could write an amazing memoir, autobiography, or some other kind of non-fiction book.

So, that's the challenge this month: pick a character (any character that has appeared in a host segment, including Bots, Mads, Test Subjects, and drop-in sketch characters, as long as they are fictional [Sorry, Perkins]) and give them a name for their non-fiction book. This can be a completely original title, or a spoof on a pre-existing book title (a book about a bot might be, say, "A Million Little Polymers").

And that's all that's needed! However, please note I will give extra consideration to those who create a cover for their book or even give a passage ; )

The winner shall, naturally, receive not three, not five, not seven, but TEN (10!) DVDs (or six Blu-ray, if you so choose) courtesy of Skyroniter!

So what're you waitin' around for? Get to posting, word monkeys!

Lets see:
"I Don't Get You" by Gypsy (Includes special fore ward by Richard Baseheart)

" 'Earth vs. the Soup' and other Essays, a Memoir " by Crow T. Robot.

"Knew Your Father I Did!" by Mr. B Natural

(Note about Mr. B) I'm not sure if it will count, but the character did appear in the Turkey Day bumps and I believe a segment for 701.

"My Week with Kenny" by Gamera

Passage from "My Week with Kenny"-'Kenny, Kenny, Kenny. Nice kid, but I used him. Why? Because he softens my image. I'm big boned and city planners discriminate me, but with Kenny. Not anymore. Thanks to his child like ideas, the ideas of other children, a constant supply of Monsters, and a major billing in a movie series, I became the "Friend to All Children"...'

and finally

"Its not a Comic Book, its a Graphic Novel!" by Tom Servo
-The legendary Tom Servo, known for his 9 billion names, high IQ, singing career, and military choir is now tackling the issue over graphic novels and comic books. Dig deep to find true understanding for this gumball machine's love of underwear and graphic novels.

What do ya think sirs?
