I talked with Joe Warren, Hal Warren's son about a year ago and he said that he still had the original print and reels (containing outtakes, God help us all).
I suggested he transfer it on a digital media, I even found a company in Arizona where he lived but nothing happened....

Very cool. Too bad Shout! didn't get ahold of a real print and transfer it... though I'd understand from a financial perspective.

If the stories about how the movie was made are true, there's no way Hal Warren sprung for 35mm. If one exists, someone made it off a 16mm print, which would just be silly. |

There have been several movies shot on 16mm but blown up to 35mm for theatrical release (THE DEADLY SPAWN springs to mind). I can only imagine how dreadful MANOS looked projected!

Question. This might have been addressed before, but I'm not in a digging mood. I was skimming DVD Verdict today and I noticed a disc that contained Time Walker. I clicked on it and found that the disc was released by Shout Factory.
I came back here to double check the status on Being from Another Planet, and it's still listed as unlikely even though the blurb does mention the Shout release. Is there a reason it's still unlikely? Is it because of Roger Corman?
I'm just curious because it seemed to me the Gamera movies went through the same thing. Shout released them individually, denied the likelihood of a release, and then went out and released them not long afterward.

Evidently Corman owns it and its he still doesn't seem to want to release it or just isn't interested.

That's what I figured. Just thought I'd double check.

I received my copy of Vol. 22 yesterday afternoon from Shout! Factory site. I was totally surprised. Did not expect until the 6th. The extras are awesome. I'll start watching the episodes tonight.

I wonder how Brute Man's classification affects the possibility of Danger Death Ray. Might not affect it due to the somewhat unclear status of that movie, but we'll see. Maybe it'll even be on the next set.

Very cool. It's a safe bet we'll be seeing DANGER DEATH RAY on a future set.
VIOLENT YEARS has been available from Alpha Video for a few years, so I'm not surprised it did turn out PD afterall.

King Dinosaur & Last of the WIld Horses will both be released on Volume XXIII. As they are both VCI, it is a safe bet that the other VCI episodes, 203 - Jungle Goddess, 520 - Radar Secret Service, and 909 - Gorgo, will be able to get released.

I had heard that Ballyhoo was working on a Lippert documentary so I assumed Rocketship XM. Glad to see these eps though. Here are the stats.
210- King Dinosaur see #203 VCI (licensed from Kit Parker Films). *Released on DVD by VCI Video w/ "The Jungle"* <NOT LIKELY>
323 - Castle of Fu Manchu Blue Underground. *DVD released by Blue Underground* <LIKELY>
608 - Code Name: Diamond Head CBS Television Distribution. <EXTREMELY-LIKELY>
611 - Last of the Wild Horses see #203. VCI (licensed from Kit Parker Films). <NOT LIKELY>
Here's some fun trivia, According the Rhino DVD poll these are some of the least desired episodes of all time.

Actually there owned by Kit Parker Films + Warner bros. They don't claim to own Gorgo but the other two are bumped up on the list.
