I can believe it. It only took 23 volumes, but there's finally a set release where I just let out a great big MEH. I'll still get it for completeness' sake, but it might ultimately be one that I wait for a dirt cheap sale somewhere down the road rather than a week-of-release purchase.
King Dinosaur: Middling season 2 era, it kind of blurs with other non biker/Godzilla season 2 eps.
Fu-Manchu: Well, I do kind of like this one, and have been waiting for its release for a while. It's still an incomprehensible mess that the SoL crew barely make salvageable.
Wild Horses: Host segments/Frank in theater moments aside, the movie was like watching paint dry.
Diamondhead: I have no memory of this episode. I'm told it aired, and there was a time I even had a VHS tape that was labeled "Code Named Diamondhead." And yet, I still have doubts this episode exists.

Ok, so I was reading the comments about this release over on mst3kinfo, and a couple of parallels between the episodes were pointed out:
-You have the original Joey the Lemur sketch in King Dinosaur, along with its parody in Wild Horses -You have the two episodes where the Mads riff, with the end of Fu-Manchu and the beginning of Wild Horses
So that makes the episode selection a bit more interesting, at least. Note how Diamondhead is the odd man out from the other three, again furthering my suspicion that the episode is, in fact, a hoax.
Edit: I'm kind of going off topic, so I apologize. Looking over Travis' guide, if Shout was unable to do any further licensing deals, I'd say they have exactly six more four-episode volumes of material to work with.
And given their ability to make deals with properties that have been previously thought near impossible to happen, it's comforting to know they won't be running out of box sets to do for some time.

Diamondhead was one I never thought much about after the first viewing (when if initially aired), but I dug out my old VHS of it about a year ago and laughed by arse off re-watching it! You may be pleasantly surprised at this one, torgoballz. It's easily the best ep. on the set.

Ohhh... this is the "Lovejoy" episode, isn't it? Yes, now it's coming back to me. The episode is an example of what happens when you focus too much on a pop culture reference that not everyone will get.
So I'm a bit curious about the implications of the Lippert films starting to see release. These were the ones that were originally held up due to Warner's Canadian distribution rights, correct? I'm curious about what has changed to allow Shout to start releasing them now.
While other Lippert movies like Rocketship XM and Jungle Goddess are the obvious episodes that have seen their likelihood for release shoot up, wouldn't it be great if Shout was able to work out a deal with Warner? It'd be great if it was the start of something that could see an eventual release of episodes that are straight-up owned by Warner, like several of the remaining season 1 eps, the Painted Hills and Operation 007.

Or mabye they just aren't releasing it in Canada.
Odds are they broke through with warner because they would need Canada in order to justify the cost of the dvd.

"Code Name: Diamond Head" is the only one I don't have. I haven't seen it in forever, but I do remember this, and hopefully it will jog your memory as well:
"Oh, this is nice. I can see why you'd want to take your family to -- AAAAHHHH!"

#205 ROCKET ATTACK U.S.A. fans should be very happy now, apparently Kit Parker bought the rights to it (and a bunch of other Medallion titles, including THE CRAWLING HAND). So I'd expect to see it on a future box set.

Wow. Season 2 has come down with a sudden case of the "extremely likelies!" With only Toho clutching Godzilla like a teddy bear preventing thr entire season from having the mark.
Great news indeed!

The little voices in my head. Which is where 90% of the Likelihood Release List comes from.
From 2009 (amazing what leaving out the periods in "U.S.A." will do):

Just watched the "Making the Creeper" special feature on the mst3k xxii dvd set. The credits thank both Kit Parker Films and VCI entertainment.
You figure out what (if anything) that means for Gorgo's Likelihood.
