well, Volume XXIII is out and XXIV is announced, MST hits set 25 this fall, so what episodes do you think will be on it?
Given the way Shout has been spreading out some of their properties, I'm thinking Rocketship X-M and Stranded in Space are a lock for two of the slots. The other two might very well be easy to obtain Mike episodes, like usual. If I were to guess right now...
Rocketship X-M Stranded in Space Danger!! Death Ray Horror of Party Beach
What do you, the viewers at home, think?

Let's see...
I agree on Rocketship X-M. I think we will get this one. Just kinda sucks it wasn't on the same set as Samson vs. The Vampire Woman. Kinda a Frank's first and last thing. Then I'm gonna go with another Russo-Finnish movie in The Day The Earth Froze. Now I'm just gonna go with an easy one and give up a PD one in The Amazing Transparent Man. Going out on a limb on this one but I really feel that Shout is trying to work a deal with Universal but I'm gonna say Revenge of the Creature.
So I'm picking:
201 Rocketship X-M 422 The Day The Earth Froze 623 The Amazing Transparent Man 801 Revenge of the Creature

Well, 25 is one of those "milestone" numbers, so I agree we will get something special, and Rocketship X-M is a good pick to lead off the set. However, I think they will sit on that one until they can release it on a set simultaneous with Revenge of the Creature (first non-Season 1 CC ep. + first SF ep), but I don't think they are ready to release Creature or any other Universal-owned titles just yet. Maybe by Vol. XXX?
Anyway, here are my guesses for Vol. XXV:
412 - Hercules and the Captive Women 502 - Hercules 903 - The Puma Man 913 - Quest of the Delta Knights
So we round out the Herc flicks, get one genuine fan favorite, one not-so-fan-favorite, and it's all bookended with eps. that feature special appearances by the female cast members riffing in the theater. Sounds to me like a Shout! set.

Be nice if Vol. 25 could be the fabled MST vs. Universal set IF Shout! can make the deal with Universal. Love to see some more SFC era eps on DVD.
Speaking of which, where oh where is Track of the Moon Beast? You'd think it would be out by now, given the following the episode has.
That being said... I have no real clue. I'll just look surprised when it finally comes.

Assuming that Shout isn't able to work out any surprise rights deals, here are my guesses for Vol XXV:
201 - Rocketship X-M 305 - Stranded in Space 605 - Colossus and the Headhunters 819 - Invasion of the Neptune Men
I'm really hoping for Invasion of the Neptune Men or Track of the Moonbeast though. Mostly because I love the Hitler building randomness from the former and their Band That Played California Lady bit from the latter. Also because it would be nice to see a Sci-Fi era episode on this set.

If I were to take a guess, mine would be:
201- Rocketship X-M 422- The Day The Earth Froze 817 - Horror of Party Beach 1007- Track of the Moon Beast
With the Lippert stuff and one last Russo Finish ep left I would hope they would be on the next set. Been hoping to see both for awhile. Rocketship is a major ep, TV's Frank debuts and Kevin Murphy's first as Tom Servo. I've been wanting the Sampo for awhile so hopefully now that Sword of the Dragon is on 24 it's right around the corner.
The other two are more my hopes than expectations. I love both episodes, especially Moon Beast. Plus we haven't had any Sci Fi episodes since Volume 19, its about time we got some more.
The most awesome thing would be if Puma Man was on this set, that would blow everyone's minds. After the episodes Shout has been able to put out in the last few sets, i think anything is possible.

Puma Man and Moon Beast would make for a great combo of beastmen who have south american sidekicks. Or aliens, whatever the hell they are.

Hmm, if multiples of 5 are considered special, then it seems that they would have something special lined up for XXV. Puma Man would be great, but perhaps they are working on something even more special. I like all this speculation, but I've seen people predicting Rocketship XM for the last umpteen sets.

I just hope they include more promos and bumpers. There's ALOT of material to be had there. They made 2 promos per episode from season 3 to season 6, one for during the week and one for right before the show. As well as inter-show bumpers ("This is Tom Servo and you're watching Comedy Central. I don't know what everyone else is doing...")
