Celebrate with me, everyone! It's a momentous day in samptaridom. (Can something really be a momentous day? Is that anything like being very unique?) This post is one I've been looking forward to for almost 3 years. That's right, number 5,280. A number that is near and dear to the hearts of every Coloradoan, or at least of every Denveran (Denverite?). To celebrate this occasion, tomorrow I'll be climbing another mountain. I'll post pics when I can, but for now: Hooray for Colorado! I declare tonight the night to drink in my honor! Or at least, the night to drink. Cheers!

Boy, what a sucky flag. I declare tonight the night to drink in my honor! Or at least, the night to drink. Cheers! You can count on me!

Boy, this thread was a blistering success.
I'm only bumping it to let you all know that the story (and promised picture) of today's adventure is up in the "Who are You" thread.

Boy, this thread was a blistering success. I wouldn't feel too bad. It's tricky to find too many people at once with that exact number of posts.

I don't feel bad. I didn't expect it to merit many posts.
I ain't much good at Sloanin'. Never was.
Which is probably why it took me almost 3 years to get to 5,280 posts.

Sorry, I was out golfing (and man did I kick ass today!) and missed this.
Congrats on the mile high success - I'll drink an Orange Crush in your honor.

I was expecting this thread to be about dirty dealings on an airplane.

I was expecting this thread to be about dirty dealings on an airplane. Then my plan worked... And MJ, I knew I could count on you. So when are we going golfing? Before or after our jam session? There's some nice courses out here. You haven't lived until you've played a mountain course at 12,000 feet. The ball flies off your club!

I didn't know how subtle your humor was. So, being the crude philistine that I am, I made the comment.

I was gone for a few days. Sorry mate.
I do admit to gasping in shock when I saw the thread and who started it!!!
(Looked at the photos, and they're faboo-glad to know you didn't lose anyone permanently!)

Send me the requirements of being in the mile high club, and I'll consider joining.

So, when is Mr. Atari going to usher us all into the mile-high club?

Well, it depends on who Mr. Atari brings in for us.
Personally, I think quality, not quantity is the true measure of a great poster.
