I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that you want her to put her hand in a bear trap...for a food item she doesn't care for no less!

True love ignores possible bear traps in pie.

I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that you want her to put her hand in a bear trap...for a food item she doesn't care for no less! I don't want to put anyone's hand in bear trap. I merely offer the choice. And it's not a bear trap anyway. I'm pretty sure.

That'll hold up in a court of law (if you're the judge and jury).

I never said I didn't like pie! In fact, I'm quite partial to several very acceptable flavors of pie. (Pi, on the other hand, is a totally different matter). But what if someone- any Joe Schmoe- declined your offer for completely safe, non-lethal pie?

But Cerrita, you said "What if you don't like pie" which would suggest pie in general. If you would have said "What if you don't like the pie?" the statement would have been pie specific. So although not definitively your statement did suggest that you may not like pie at all.
No need to thank me, I'm just happy to be of service.

Yes I am, I'm full of pie. Good wholesome pie made only with the finest, freshest ingredients. And with lots of that intangible ingredient, love. Bless you for noticing dear, bless you. Oh, and I almost forgot. I'm also full of crap.
