Due to a terrible fire, the entire town was forced to endure the movie in the incredibly fire proof theater, or die in the blazing inferno just outside. Some poor souls had to stay for the second showing....

People dress up like their favorite characters and go around reenacting the film, quoting dialogue... it's just like a Rocky Horror Picture Show festival. </obscenely cheerful mode> Hey, it took the Lone Star state's cinema a good 25 years to recover from this!
