From Satellite News
Last summer we told you that the campaign to get the TV show Freaks and Geeks (where Josh "J. Elvis" Weinstein was a producer and where Trace Beaulieu and Joel Hodgson made appearances) onto DVD had been successful. This week details of the set were released: It will come out as a six-disk set on April 6th from Shout! Factory and DreamWorks Television. It will contain all 18 episodes, including three that never aired on broadcast TV. The original music will be preserved and there will be more than 40 hours of bonus material, including a director's cut of the pilot episode, behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes, outtakes, alternate cuts, blooper reels and a whopping 28 audio commentaries by the actors, directors, network executives, crew members, obsessive fans, and even parents of cast members. Josh was among them, offering commentary on the episode "Beers and Weirs."

Question now is who's going to carry Josh into the theater (or commentary booth). HAHA I crack me up.

I had no idea at the time that any of the Brains had anything to do with it.

I wonder (seriously) if anyone thought of putting Joel, Trace & Josh in the commentary booth. I mean usually it'd be kind of dumb or weird. But with 28 commentaries including obsessive fans and parents of the cast it doesn't sound so dumb. I know Joel & Trace were in at least two episodes together and they were in more episodes on their own many times. I've never seen the show but have heard good things plus with the MST3K guys it should be intresting to see what they do. Especially Joel since he is very shy. It'll also be nice to hear what they say about the MST3K guys in the booth.

Speaking of Josh. . . . I saw Josh Weinstein credits in the show "Mission Hill" Last night. Did he work on that show? Am I spelling his last name right?

Was he credited as J. Elvis Weinstein? 'Cause that's what he goes by now. Josh Weinstein popped up on the Simpsons also, but it wasn't him. It was funny,I was watching the Simpsons reruns as usualy during the week a few weeks back, and in the ending credits I noticed Executive Producer: Josh Weinstein.I was like "Hey,that must be Josh from MST3K!".Then a few days later,I was reading some MST things,I read abbout how he changed his professional name to J Elvis. Weinstein because of that sort of thing.Cosmic...
