Well, it's as we feared... no extras.. not a single crummy one.
However, the quality seems to be good on all the discs...

Best Buy didnt have it in my town, but circut city did, $40 well spent, i havent watched the shorts but the quality was great on all eps. i like having leeches, because my vhs copy is missing the stinger, but it is one of my least favorite episodes, and after watching it in a new pristine form, i have to say i liked it more. i had similar feelings on unearthly, hellcats, and bloodlust, and I like them a lot more after repeated viewings. I had the vhs gunslinger, but like my manos vhs, im always glad for an upgrade. both gunslinger and teenagers are among my all time faves so im glad to have them. i dont know about rhino putting shorts in thier boxes id rather have another ep. i dont know why they just dont do a box set of shorts and just keep the box sets short free but thats just me. ok im ranting now.....

Wow, mine actually showed up today as well.
I've got Leeches on, looks sharp. The sound on the short itself is bad (not a Rhino or BBI fault) so I can see why anything of lesser quality would make it tough to hear.
So far nothing jumps out at me, bad edit wise etc.
And I loved, LOVED the "Drive-in" design of the box. This is my favorite by far, thumbs up to the art department. But I do wish we had extras, even a quick interview with Joel or Trace would have been nice. We hear a lot from Mike, but with this set I wish we could hear at least a little from Joel, recollections anything.
BTW, in my area. Best Buy didn't get the last MST set until a week later, same thing with Essentials. I wonder if this is happening at a lot of locations and what the deal is?

Well maybe you should have gone inside stores, instead of driving around for three hours. Ha, ha. I went to Target, Circuit City, Walmart, a Super K-Mart, The Navy Exchange and Fry’s. No MST. I just got back from Best Buy and the guy checked the computer and told me that they don’t get it till November 7th. WTF?! I refuse to surrender. Damn the torpedoes! Tomorrow is another day, and I shall never go hungry again!

Well, Best Buy's corporate headquarters is located in Minneapolis. And we know how behind the times they are up there. Can anything good ever come from the Twin Cities?

I disbelieve! So I got mine. I'm just glad that I have Gunslinger on DVD finally. And maybe someone will understand my name now rather than just thinking that I'm some weird communist sympathist...which I kind of am. Kinda of. But...just watch the host segments. It's all about death and humor. And funerals and memory. And the lack of a soul...

I just got mine from Suncoast Video yesterday. It's great! I just watched the shorts and Teenagers, which I hadn't seen yet. Great quality, but no interviews or commentary, that's what I wanted. Still, this is most excellent and I can't wait for the next release.
