I received the card too.. but I'm not going to waste my 5..10.. 15 minutes or however long it takes to watch one of these episodes. I enjoyed MST3k mainly for the riffing, not for the host segments. Plus, all of the creative talent is long gone. It would be like going to a Beatles concert where Yoko Ono and Phil Spector just toss stage banter about without playing any music. It's not the same. At all. Never in a million years.

I saw the first episode and it really wasn't that good. But there are clips from the showon the site. I saw a clip of "Earth Vs Soup" from season 7. Does this mean that we may see a Rhino release of a S7 ep FINALLY!!! Who knows?

Randomly: Has anyone else been having this problem? Every flippin' time I see anything about the new toon or website, immediately the song "My Boyfriend's Back" by The Angels starts playing in my head, but with a slight modification... The Bots are back and you're gonna be in trouble - Hey nah, hey naaaaah, the Bots are back! When you see 'em coming you better cut out on the double - Hey nah, hey naaaaah, the Bots are back! And etc. It's driving me crazy. Why does it have to be so damn catchy!?? ARRRRGH! I STILL GOT THIS SONG IN MY HEAD!!! ROBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYN!!!

Huh, funny you mention that, coz it's not stuck in my head anymore - ack, don't hit!
Okay, okay, the best remedy for an annoying song stuck in your head is to get a less annoying song stuck in your head!
Ahem - NIIIIIGHT TRAAAAIN...

You know, you folks who are throwing away the postcards? You're making them valuable collector's items. ;-)
I still haven't seen it because of my dial-up connection. I'll try to view it after church this Sunday (I can use their internet because I teach sunday school.)
I'm still resolutely determined to give it three chances even though people seem a tad underwhelmed by it.

It doesn't really take long to upload on dial-up. I think it took about 20 minutes on my computer. But my connection is slow even for dial-up.

Why didn't anyone tell me this had started already? I thought the first webtoon was cute, the animation was also pretty good too, better than expected. Of course I've always liked odd little cartoons so this kind of thing is right up my alley.
I also finally got to see the Godzilla Geneology Bop! They should put some whole shorts on there, and didn't they say we'd get some behind the scenes stuff?
...but the real news is how cool the 'toon bots and 'toon MST3K logo look on T-Shirts! Might have to get me some of that.

Heh. Done well, that could be quite amusing.
(Even moreso with real puppets. *grumble grumble*)

What do you get when you cross the animation quality of South Park with the comedy of a Garfield comic strip?
Lets hope this doesn't continue in it's current form or goes away entirely.
