Thanks Shep. They also have Pray For The Wildcats been trying to remember name of it too. A local station years ago showed 70's movies and TV shows. Imagine Brady dad capt. Kirk and Andy Griffith as bikers.

I bought what looks like a halfway-official DVD copy of "Bad Ronald" off eBay a while ago. I think you'd struggle to find it entertaining in any way...because it isn't. The idea behind it is interesting but it's not weird enough to be memorable and not bad enough to be funny. It's just dull and rubbish.

Erk! Just noticed this thread. To reiterate what I asked in a pointless thread of it's own:
One of my hobbies is hunting up the cheesy old SF movies I used to see on TV as a kid. Sometimes the detective work of tracking one down based on only a few hazy memories can be sorta fun on its own. One has me stumped, but it seems this is a good group to run it by. From what I remember of this movie I'd guess it was French or Italian from the '60s. It was color and almost certainly dubbed. The plot involved a world destroying cataclysm (collision with the Moon?) which was somehow preceded by lots of dry ice fog. There was something about a kid who looked like Disney's Mowgli being held under a bank of gooseneck lamps (I seem to remember this being billed as a "radiation treatment"). Perhaps the most distinctive thing was costuming. I recollect several characters wearing black suits which included a distinctive headpiece: imagine someone wearing a black balaclava with a brimless opera hat on top and you pretty well have my recollection of it. Any ideas?

From the costuming, maybe Italian.
hmmmmm.

If I had to bet I'd say Italian; my memories of it have a sort of Hercules feel.

What are your memories of the voices of the characters? Same as the Herc films? That would be a pointer, also!

I'm afraid my memories aren't that detailed, aside from being sure it was dubbed. As an odd sidelight though, a few years ago I saw a copy of Camus' The Stranger which had a photo of people in very similar costumes on the cover.

This has been bugging me for awhile, and I can't think of where else to post it, so here it goes.
I remember watching something on network TV in the mid to late 80s that dealt with a post-nuclear war world. At least some of the characters drove around in the desert in a vehicle (or vehicles) like the armored Marine vehicle in Aliens. If I remember correctly, they were looking for water and it seems to me there were scorpions or some other type of insect thing that were prevalent and dangerous.
I'm thinking it was a made-for-TV movie, but it might have been a miniseries or a failed series that only went a couple of episodes. I want to say it was called Devastation, but I can't find a single thing on it.

It must have been on some Saturday afternoon for me to have seen it when I remember seeing it, but I'm sure that's right. Thanks!

Ok...this was a hard movie for me to find anything about, so here goes...
Does anyone know what this movie is/is called?
It had Robert Downy Jr in it (I think), as like a doctor from the era of the black plague. He had one of those scary looking plague outfits on with the long robe and the bird mask.
This movie sticks out for me because it was the movie I was watching when 9/11 was happening, and I just happened to switch the tv over to CNN...
