I seen a small part of movie in the late 80's staring Daniel Day Lewis. I remember very little of it other than I thought it was funny and he was running from someone or trying to find someone. I also remember him running around naked for a while. Its not the Unbearable Lightness of Being(which I loved btw)

He ran around a lot in that one, didn't he? (I've never seen it, I'm just basing that on the old commercials.)

When the Over the Top RiffTrax was announced, I got apprehensive 'cause I have a bad memory of a graphic arm wrestling scene in some movie I saw as a kid. In the scene a guy gets his arm snapped in half while arm wrestling. I know I saw Over the Top a couple times as a kid, but I couldn't remember much of it and I was afraid it would be the movie with the stomach-turnin', arm-snappin' action scene. But it wasn't in there; thank goodness. Anybody know what movie I should make sure to avoid so I don't have to see any icky broken arms in arm wrestling scenes? I know this is late, but no one seemed to suggest this so I thought I might, in the off chance that you would see it. The scene you are describing sounds a lot like it came from Cronenberg's remake of The Fly. He is is a link to the scene, if you are brave enough to watch it again (personally this kind of stuff does not bother me) youtube.com/watch?v=Gs0fGt_GzbkI hope you get this, I know what it is like to remember something so well but have no idea what it was.

OK, I was a 'tard and started a thread when this one already existed, so I'll post this here. I still am looking for info.
OK, when I was a kid I saw the beginning of a movie that my dad turned off after a few minutes because it was too violent.
I think I was 12 or 13 at the time, so I'm thinking it was 1985 or so. It was on HBO in a hotel room, so the movie probably came out before 1985.
The movie opens with two guys being chased in a jungle. They hop a train, but the train is stopped. The junta leader escorts the guys off the train, interrogates them, then has his goons machine-gun them. At that point CLICK.
I'm a bit fuzzy on the details, but I clearly remember a boxcar, two white guys, maybe journalists, the junta leader and his goons with assault rifles, and these two guys getting shot.
Does this sound like a familiar scene in any movie you've seen?

I was going to say either Evil That Men Do or Project: Kill, but the start of those movies didn't have any of that from what I remember. Based on the 80s/jungle/junta thing, I would say it was a good chance that it was filmed in the Philipines and probably starred Fred Williamson, Sid Haig or whoever somewhere in the credits. That might be a good start.

Okay, here's a long shot-- I was quite young and only remember vague snippets, nothing about the plot... Back in the early '80s, WGN used to run this movie (miniseries?) over and over. I must have seen bits and pieces of it at least 5 times. It was an ensemble thriller and featured a submarine, or some sort of pod with portholes and some key plot element with someone getting pressurized (?). Also, at the end, one of the protagonists fell over a railing to their death below (railing kill). I've been looking for this for over 20 years, so if you can help, I'll be amazed. But it's worth a try anyway. Well Mr Abe Atari or is it Atari Abe Do you think this could be a 1981 mini-series called Goliath Awaits ? www.imdb.com/title/tt0082461/It stars a Robert Ballard type guy (before we knew who he was) that discovers the sunken ocean liner Goliath. But a number of passengers survive and establish a civilization under the sea in the wreck. Also stars Christopher Lee, Frank Gorshin & John Carradine to name a few. I saw this years ago myself and I do not believe how I remember this out of nowhere. Sure is funny how the human mind works. The movie with all of its faults did star Emma Samms so it did have something going for it.

Now that I see the credits list, I think I might remember Eddie Albert being in it. Even if it's not the same, it totally looks like my kind of movie. Now if I can only track it down. It looks like something McCallum might have. By the way, if any of you haven't visited McCallum's online store, you are missing out.

I was forced to move my topic of discussion here for an unknown reason, sorry... I kind of don't have time to look through threads to see if its been answered so I hope that I can get some results in an already created topic...
So, anyway, Hey everyone! I'm looking for footage of classic stuff like vintage explosion footage, crowds screaming and running in terror and etc. I kinda need some help and I'm wondering if some mst3k classic horror movie film buffs could help me out here.
I remember a long time ago I spotted this one clip from a classic black and white horror flick which had some scientist in a laboratory, and all of a sudden this giant brain with eyes zipped in and started bumping into him like an idiot. It was some foam rubber brain where I guess the guy in the suit was moving around with his legs at the bottom, but you couldn't see them. It just bumped around smashing everything in the lab. WHAT IS THAT MOVIE?
Any other great classic horror movies with great classic freaky footage as well? Besides the obvious MST3K movies of the past. Thanks in advance!

OR: The Brain From Planet Aros.
They both had John Agar and were essentially the same film. Different paper mache brain.
