I hate to admit that I actually enjoyed xXx. The sequel blew massive chunks, but the first one was a fun mindless popcorn flick. And any movie with Rammstein in the opening scene has to be good.

I enjoyed it as well. I own it too. Although right now I have the director's cut which won't work for the Rifftrax.

To be honest, I don't remember enough about the movie to say anything about its quality. All I remember is "Vin Diesel is the most awful thing I've ever seen" and "Asia Argento is nice to look at." ;D

I think it's arguably the weakest rifftrax so far. But it's still funny. My review xXx

Here's to the most obscure riff in the film: "Quick drop a turtle on his head. It worked for Aeschylus!"
Here's the story:
Aeschylus (525 BC—456 BC; Greek: Áἰó÷ýëïò) was a playwright of ancient Greece. Aeschylus was the earliest of the three greatest Greek tragedians, the others being Sophocles and Euripides.
Aeschylus frequently travelled to Sicily, where the tyrant of Gela was a patron. In 458 BC he travelled there for the last time; according to traditional legend, Aeschylus was killed in 456 BC when an eagle (or more likely a Lammergeier), mistaking the playwright's bald crown for a stone, dropped a tortoise on his head (though some accounts differ, claiming it was a stone dropped by an eagle or vulture that likely mistook his bald head for the egg of a flightless bird).

I think it's arguably the weakest rifftrax so far. But it's still funny. My review xXxI would rank it the same as 5th Element. Yes, it wasn't great, but it was still worth watching. My gut feeling is that the movie needs to a have a certain cheesyness to it, to be funny. I had never seen xXx before, but it definitely had a Bond feel to it. The movie was fake in most ways...having a pristine condition, fueled up dirt bike just sitting there ready to ride...but I liked the movie. Mikes comments just made it a bonus to watch.
