I now am firmly convinced that, however mainstream it is, Highlander II should be riffed. If not for us, then do it so that people will discover the funniest movie of the century!

Personally, I'd like to see Godzilla or Night at the Museum - any one else unfortunate enough to see this movie?
I think all of your recommendations for Forrest Gump and Titanic were spot on - I thought I was the only person who disliked Forrest Gump.

Heh, I remember Mary Jo in an interview talking about how much she hated Forrest Gump, and how people treated her when they would find out how she felt. "The whole room would fall silent" or something like that! So, no, you're far from the only one.

I've had pretty much the same reaction - I felt like the Antichrist or something.
Huh, maybe if Glitter goes well, her and Mike Nelson can do Forrest Gump...

kevin murphy hated it as well (forrest gump) and wrote about it his "year at the movies" book. had to plug that lol. i liked the movie, but when ya go back you can see what it is. its a touchy feeling cry, laugh, think movies. boring IMO , seeing how im grown up now. but as a fan, i would love to see them FINISH riffing the star wars prequels. they have already done episodes 1 and 2 , so 3 is guranteed. dont get me wrong, im a HUGE fan of both of the trilogies, but it would be funny. heres a list of what i would like to see
revenge of the sith king kong gone with the wind rocky horror picture show hulk daredevil spider-man 3 catwoman (a must) the little rascals (my gang, whatever its called) casablanca wizard of oz

I am just happy to know I’m not the only sane person out there- ye gods I disliked that movie!
As much as I like Kevin Murphy, I still have yet to read "A year At the Movies". I'm going to order that right now.
"The Wizard of Oz" is a great choice.

I always wondered if they would do something like Harry Potter...

Daredevil has already been done. I think they should do EVERY SINGLE MOVIE EVER MADE! SHOW NO MERCY, MIKE! Like I said in this thread (normally I'd close a duplicate thread, but seeing how this thread is older, I'll let it slide), any and all Friday the 13th movies must be done. Period. There is no working around it. Others I'd definatly buy a RiffTrax for: Halloween III: Season of the Witch Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation Godzilla Predator 2 Alien: Ressurection AVP: Alien vs. Predator Star Wars Empire Strikes Back Return of the Jedi Revenge of the Sith Hulk Man-Thing The Matrix Reloaded The Matrix Revolutions The Animatrix (after listening to the original RiffTrax, I'm hungry for more things Matrix releated) Resident Evil Resident Evil: Apocalypse Resident Evil: Extinction (You know it's going to be RiffTrax worthy)

Alien vs. Predator, lol, they would tear that movie apart, what a disappointment that was.

I'm surprised they haven't done it yet. It seems like one Mike would be dying to do. Hell, I'm surprised that none of Anderson's flicks have surfaced yet.
But if they do the Resident Evil trilogy, I'll die a happy man.

Yeah, I'd vote for AvP too. It was goofy enough to be fun, but I didn't think it was bad enough to turn me off. Just the kind of movie and genre that's perfect for Rifftrax.

Just noting that in Mike's May 23, 2007, interview on SFist promoting live RiffTrax, Mike names a movie that will likely never be RiffTraxed. SFIST: Speaking of going mad, have you ever come across a film that you at first thought would be perfect for a RiffTrax, but upon a complete viewing you realize you never want to have to sit through the thing again? We want names! MIKE: Yes. In fact many people have suggested, and I originally agreed, that Showgirls would make for good riffing. And it may. The problem is it’s just so ugly, so vile, I just can’t bring myself to encourage people to watch it. You’d have to take a series of hot showers with a good pumice soap after watching it. And I don’t even want to think about writing it. Ew.
