No payment required... but the gesture is very appreciated. I just created a YouTube channel as a place to upload the converted DIYs. So then, which one would you like converted to Insti-Load?

Hmmm, while I have much affection for my first one (Wild Guitar) I think the Giant Claw was my best, so lets go with that one. The url = www.cuts.com/cut/8e9a79e899/And thanks a ton. It was downloading quicker of late, BUT last night it locked me up and shut my laptop down. So a youtube version would save a lot of hassle.

hey Sandstrom, I was quite pleased w/ mine indeed . Thought I especially had the flow & timing of riffage down , not to mention choices. Having recieved a rating of 2 stars however , I dunno' . *sob* Unless that came from you ( gulp ) , please consider adding mine , if only briefly so that I may use Safari to Get Video & have a copy . Or even comprehensible instructions on how to save it my own-damn-self ! gee thanks ! www.cuts.com/cut/2e2150aaf5/

The RiffTraxDIY YouTube Channel can be found at: www.youtube.com/RiffTraxDIY. I have yet to spritz up the look of it, but that's coming. I wasn't able to capture the captions from the DIY video, so I added them manually through my editing software... and though the wording is accurate, they look a bit different. I hope that's ok.

Hey guys, just thought I'd pop in here and say thanks for the feedback regarding the DIY site. I just wanted to let you know that, like everything else, we're listening and we're very much aware of the technical problems. We're working on a new version of the site, to be launched in the next 3 months or so, that will address all of these issues.
Since we acquired the Cuts.com website, that means we also got ownership of their servers. When we added all of the riffer sounds (which there are now 300+, I believe) we didn't realize what kind of an impact this would have on user experience. Since that is the largest issue with the site, it'll be the one to get the most noticeable improvement in the new version.
We're looking at other features to include as well, and I promise it'll be worth the wait. Feel free to PM me directly with any other questions or specific concerns. Thanks!

I love making DIY riffs at cuts.com, but I think their site's popularity has been held back because of technical issues. I can't in good conscience link to my videos there due to the slow load times. That's the whole reason I created my YouTube channel with instant loading DIY riffs that were originally created through cuts.com . The conversion process takes a bit more work, but I actually have fun doing it. Plus, there's more flexibility to be had. Click the pic below for my latest conversion... Another benefit in doing it this way, is that your final riffed video is then protected against deletion from the person that uploaded the original YouTube clip (if they remove their clip from YouTube, you can say bye bye to all the hard work you put into riffing it). If anyone's interested in this process, just let me know and I'll be glad to elaborate. Thank you very, very much for that!

Awesome, thanks a ton Sandstorm! That's great and I prefer the captioning that way too.

No I was introduced to those videos by a friend a while back and I always find a way to put a quote into conversation. Unfortunately no one else knows what I'm talking about, so the reference flies right over their heads most of the time.

Wow Sandstorm !
I'm well chuffed !
I didn't think you'd gotten to it when I saw no post , and I thought "ah , I'm not gonna' bug him". But I went to the Tube-channel and "Hey !"
Opening credit n' everything . . It's like vaild or some junk.
I'm not sure if it peters-out a tad at the end or not , it's a hard interface till these improvements come. While working with it it was to iMovie as plastic rounded scissors are to . . .well, scissors !
thanks loads !!
( Saved as a "Get Video" w/ QuickTime too . . . all mine now !! )

No problem... I enjoy converting these things. And sorry about neglecting to notify you of it's completion. I had every intention to do so and just got side tracked. So let me make it official...
