I saw Oasis a few years back on the Brotherly Love Tour with Spacehog and The Black Crowes and they rocked.

I loved that one of the local papers gave the show a bad review citing Liam was "portentous" and condescending toward the crowd...
Um, yeah. It's Oasis. I would feel like I was missing out if Liam WASN'T a total dick. LMAO!

HUZZAH! AC/DC have tacked on a stadium tour to the end of the Black Ice arena tour in the summer and the closing night is the Young brothers birthplace Glasgow! There was much anger that they'd seemingly snubbed Scotland when they announced the arena tour but I had a sneaking suspicion that they'd end up playing Hampden: If this is their last tour then it'll be an apt end, although I'd imagine they'd likely play somewhere in Australia before calling it a day. Fingers crossed they ain't done! And fingers crossed I can actually get a bloody ticket!

I saw Oasis a few years back on the Brotherly Love Tour with Spacehog and The Black Crowes and they rocked. I saw that tour, too, in Chicago. Oasis are an amazing live band when Liam's voice holds up.

I suspect he's really a big softie, too (anybody who writes "I'm Outta Time" and "Songbird" has to be).

I saw Unwigged & Unplugged last night here in Columbus. For those of you who don't know Spinal Tap, it was Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest touring, playing music, just like a band! Only as themselves. They did old Spinal Tap songs, songs from A Mighty Wind, and others. It was awesome!

Saw Bruce Springsteen at Hampden Park Glasgow last night. Best gig I've ever seen. Boss was amazing, band was amazing and the crowd was mental. He hadn't played in Scotland with the E Street Band for 28 years so everyone was really up for it. It was a very special and in a lot of ways moving night, one that'll stay with me for the rest of my life. The feeling of being on the Hampden pitch with 50,000 others all roaring Born To Run at the top of our voices was just incredible!

My boyfriend loves Oasis; he'd be so jealous of ya'll who have seen them. I always liked it better when Noel sings, myself. He has such an amazing voice.
I'm seeing Cyndi Lauper August 8th. I'm very excited; I've probably seen her four or five times. I don't go to a lot of concerts, but I always have to see Cyndi. She's always amazing live; her voice is gorgeous and strong as ever, and she seems to get more beautiful every time. Rosie O'Donnell is opening for her; I guess I'll just have to deal with that.

I'm seeing Paul McCartney in Atlanta on August 15th!!!
I'm convinced that I was born too late, because I am such a hardcore Beatles fan and I think Paul is just the absolute dreamiest, even now. All those old films of girls screaming and crying during their concerts? Yeah, that's gonna be me and a girlfriend of mine for sure. Mmmmmm...nothing like hot tears of hysteria to go with some epically good music.
I can't wait! ;D

I already brought it up in the "Bride of Off-Topic" thread, but since this is here... I'm gonna go see Bruce Hornsby at Biltmore Estate (Asheville, NC) this Saturday! Seen him once there already, and absolutely loved it. The guy's not only a major talent, but he's very funny and unpredictable on stage. Plus, his setlist is comprised mostly of requests, which only adds to the fun. I intend to request "Big Rumble," since that's one of the most fun live songs I've ever heard, and is easily one of my favorites of his anyway.

Saw Paul McCartney last week and it was fantastic! I saw him three and a half years ago too, and this show was better. Also, my camera batteries didn't get confiscated this time heh.
