Well, I did get an activiation e-mail and password after about 8 tries.
Of course, the password they e-mailed me registers as "invalid" when I try and use it.
Jeez, what a waste of time.

If I end up not spreading my "wonderful" comments on one less board, the world may be better off. This will NOT stop me from purchasing CT 2.0 of course.

Wow Rad, whatever pull you have must be massive and all-worldly. I can now logon to the site.
April 26th, I am having a bunch of folk over to my house for a NFL draft party. If you drive up from SA, you will get the special non-ending beer mug.

I totally heard most of Trace's post in a combination of Crow and Dr. Forrester voices in my head as I read it.

New post from Mary Jo. Apparently they're looking into getting studio space in the next few months. Neat.
...Shouldn't ther've been a new movie released by now? Or 2?

I'm sure from the suggestions that we've all had, there's been some retooling of the concept. And I'm guessing that they're spending more time now figuring out how they're going to make a series of episodes, not just doing another 'one-off' like The Oozing Skull. Probably much more cost effective to make a few episodes at once, and then release them over time. That seems to be what they're doing right now.

I'm sure from the suggestions that we've all had, there's been some retooling of the concept. In fact, that seems to be exactly the case. Sky posted a link to a new interview with Joel over at the IFC website. Joel says: We are getting a lot of people telling us they want more of an explanation, so we intend to build that onto the front [of future episodes]. The overriding concept is we're recording this for future generations. The movie is really the springboard for all these other ideas, and at the end of it, there's this great big mound of data. It reminded me of the stuff they put in time capsules to explain to people in the future what happened at a certain time in history. We're actually going to have a physical "Time Tube" and we're going to put all these DVDs in it and put it down into the earth. It's like the Westinghouse time capsule from the 1964 World's Fair. In fact, it's exactly like it. That's where I got the idea.
As far as our ability to riff on a movie, everybody was satisfied, but [more explanation] is the thing that's emerging that fans want more of.

What I'm wondering is whether "looking into getting studio space" means that they're looking to rent and won't be filming any new episodes until a few months down the road, or whether she means they're looking to buy permanent studio space and they'll rent in the meantime. (That all makes sense in my mind.) I'd hate to have to wait a few months for a new episode. RAD, care to clarify?

I'd think it'd be a pain to have to set up the scaffolding everytime and transport props, etc. If they could find something like they had in Minnesota and basically "make their own" that'd probably be most efficient.
