I'm fairly sure that Forresters labcoats were custom made. The seams look machined, but not mass produced, nd the fabric appears quite light. Your best bet may be to get a 100% cotton one (not a polycotton blend) and use a bright green dye on it (remember to swap out the buttons, too!). I made these up a while back - get some t-shirt iron-on paper, apply to some white fabric & then glue or stitch to pocket: Videotape label (as seen in Laserblast ep): C.

I do remember someone here making a Dr. F get-up for Halloween... I remember Katie did. I think there was a thread with quite a bit of info on how she did it, but I can't remember where it was.

Think that was in General Chat but probably a number of pages back. If anyone who isn't as lazy as me wants to look I'm sure they'll find it!

I recall that someone that won one of Dr F's lab coats on eBay posted the information that was on the tag inside the collar. I think it said who the manufacturer was and they said it was a white lab coat dyed green (as mentioned above). I'll try to see if I saved the info, but I would think any similar lab coat would work just fine.

Speaking of this costume, I was wondering, what would i use to put a streak on my hair and tache?

My sister's a cosplayer, and she says that since Dr. F's hair is "springy", the streak itself isn't Opaque, so you wouldn't need an Opaque Streak. She recommends regular colored hairspray from a party store, or possibly hair chalk.

Hey guys, so, I printed out the above, bought a patch, bought a lab coat, dyed it, bleached my beard, got green socks, green laces for my black boots, ties, dark shirt etc and then attended Comic Con Manchester Uk

Good job, fozziecub! Did you spank your monkey? Jeezus, man... I was hoping so desperately that you wouldn't drop that gag. "You might want to make a 'Smoke On The Water' joke here, but I urge you to refrain."--Michael J. Nelson, Experiment 912
