I would love to know who unearthed this nugget! It appears to have set back the sci-fi genre by a decade at least.
I know where my money will be spent in June.
Rad, you can gold plate your dress shoes now (assuming you have not already done so).

After months of silent lurking, the CT team bursts forth with mucho goodness. Not just *A* new episode but 3!
Awesomeness.
As others have mentioned, it looks like they've taken the feedback to heart. With that in mind, it'll be interesting to see if they implement some kind of premise to the show, or if we'll have intro/outro segments outside of the theater.

A cheesy sci-fi space flick? Awesome. Just awesome. Cannot wait. That kind of stuff was always my favorite MST3K fodder.

Yeah, the trailer wouldn't load for me either. Went to You-tube. Nice! Kasey Kasem! Loved the 70s riff too. That was a good trailer. And the Kasey Kasem reference made a lot more sense with a visual. Still, this remains my my favorite bit: "I love your homemade water." "Eewww!"

So now the number of Cinematic Titanic episodes will be equal to the number of Film Crew episodes. ;-)

Man...I'm so excited for this it's not even funny. I've watched the trailed a few times and it looks soooo funny. I'm also excited that we've got a more stable release schedule, and those releases will carry me through a big move to Oklahoma in July. Nothing like a little hilarious familiarity to make one feel at home in a new place.

This movie looks about as close to The Green Slime as we may ever get riffed. Very similar looking models, special effects, costuming, and everything in between. Its just missing the Green Slime.

Nothing like a little hilarious familiarity to make one feel at home in a new place. I know exactly what you mean. Years ago after a big move the first thing I did was put in my VHS copy of "Pod People." The weariness/stress just melted away. Really looking forward to these upcoming releases. Rewatched "Oozing Skull" just yesterday. A classic!

Goodness, I feel a comment bursting forth from my busom. "I am excited!" There it is. Simple and yet elegant. The trailer looked great. It is going to be goofy silly fun all over again. Oozing skull was fine, not brilliant beyond belief, fine. However, this trailer has me...I'm saying it again: "Excited!"
I must lay down now.

Am I seeing things, or is that Regis Philbin The Icky Elf from 'Golden Boots' in that one clip from the movie?

i've been sort of out of the loop/away from computers more than usual lately getting ready for a big move--any more specific news on a release date? I'm guessing if there was, there would be a thread about it, but it doesn't hurt to ask...
