For all the trouble he went through, the Trix rabbit could have bought some cereal. The kids are still obnoxious as all get out, though.

Both are true. As a kid I always wondered by the rabbit didn't just get some Trix at the store, and most kids in commercials are obnoxious, even the cartoon ones.
Eating one of the big Shredded Wheat pillows is kind of like chewing on a haystack.
