This is faster than I expected. Nice varied episode line-up too. Good to have four more official releases. I really like Final Justice, probably more than Mitchell. Oops, gotta go, Mike's tripping!

Nice turnaround time on the set, and the selections seem just fine to me. I'm happy as long as the releases are steady and the overall quality is high. So far, Shout has delivered for me.

Anyone know if it's normal for Shout to use individual dvd thin-cases in their box sets of other series they produce? I really like those, and I hope they weren't just for the 20AE.

Shout's release of Sonic the Hedgehog and Home Movies have all used slim cases in cardboard sleeves, so expect the same format as the 20th Anniversary set's inner box.

everyone should pre-order and buy these sets on release date to insure that we get more. The studios only really care about first week sales. I would be willing to bet that if they didn't sell out of the tin version we would not be getting a new announcement so soon. I could not agree more. I will check amazon every morning now just to see when this is available for pre-ordering. Then I will lock it away so to speak. ;D

Thanks, that's good news. You're very welcome! I'll have to snatch this up day one. During my poor college student days, Rhino released Volumes 1-12 leaving me to ignore releases and focus on feeding myself on the bare minimum and wearing the same pair of pants for a week. Now I missed out on volumes 9 and 10.1 and fear I'll miss out on 2-11 if I don't snatch them up quickly! In retrospect I should have flogged my copy of the MST3K Movie on ebay for the Rhino releases and then repurchased the movie during the rerelease.

Nice mix of episodes! I really like 103-Mad Monster. Something about those midnight creep fest horror classics that they did in season 1 that really appeal to me. I used to hate the Rocky Jones episodes, but after I broke down and re-watched them last year, they are now two of my favorites, so really glad to see 413-Manhunt in Space (wish they would have included Crash of the Moons). 1001 is historic, and should have appeared in the previous box set due to the whole "20th Anniversary" aspect, and it is a good one. And 1008-Final Justice is no Mitchell, but a pretty solid sci-fi era ep. Overall: very happy!

After the beautiful artwork of the first release, I hope this one is just a preliminary version...But good line-up of episodes!

They will more than likely have the same style of art for each of the thinpaks as they did in the 20th set.

^Even on the inside cardboard sleeve of the 20thAE the colors were more attractive and the shadowrama was original.
Hope it's preliminary, like for the movie re-release (which had a much improved cover when it came out, just from a few tweaks).
...but still, it's the epps that count.

Three Beloved Gems and a "has to get a release sooner or later" semi-precious geode. Nice!
I am curious about that 110 minutes of "unknown" extras.
And why are you all blaming Rhino for the Volume 12 "rights" debacle?
When TV's Frank was to blame...
