Careful. Your ears are about to bleed: I'm speechless...I could swear I heard a frog die somewhere in there. At least he hit the correct note about three times.

My 6th grade class had to sing this at our schools Christmas pageant. Guess who brought the LP we practiced singing along with? Yep, the chicken's family happened to own this Mitch Miller Christmas album:

As for traditional stuff, the Coventry Carol is my favorite.
I also love the entire soundtrack for the musical Scrooge (the one with Albert Finney).

Wow. Al Hirt must be a genius. He made that sound like an American Christmas classic. I've always enjoyed this Johnny Mercer version of "Santa Claus is Coming To Town."

I remember hearing this on the bus in high school, my friend gets on and looks up with a "what the flapjacks" look.

Somehow I never knew that James Brown did a couple of Christmas albums. I snagged it this weekend almost as a joke...but it's pretty damn good:

i have the funky christmas - i love it.
we sell christmas greetings at the radio station every holiday - we read corny scripts about gathering around the tree and dad carving up the turkey, blah blah blah and set them to christmas music. i bring in a lot of my own christmas music - jazz, big band, etc., but my favorites are when i'm waxing sentimental about a traditional christmas while james brown is screeching merrrrrryyyyy chriiiiiiiiiiistmassss, america!!!! in the background.
