I'm only twenty five mins into this episode and already my ass has fallen off from laughing so hard.

I ordered mine yesterday morning. I saw them do this movie live at the Minneapolis show and it's really good so I can't wait for it to get to me!

Woot! I’m going to DL it as soon as I get home and it would be ready in time for the pizza to be finished. Glorious day!

This episode was an absolute hoot. It made me LMAO despite the fact that things are purified poopie in my personal life. This CinTitan was so funny it made me forget about life for an hour and twenty five mins. Plus, five beers really helped. Anyway, I love the ancient MST3k call back (like season one!) from Joel. As always, Josh and MJ had some killer lines (especially Josh's KFC joke...almost resulted in beer coming out my nose). Superb job guys! Thanks for helping me stave off despair just a little longer. Cheers! 10/10

This episode was good. Really good. It was definitely one of their best. And am I alone in thinking that the film they riffed was actually the best made movie they've done so far? I'd enjoy it even without the riffing.

This is definitely my favorite so far. But that will probably change once Dynamite Brothers comes out.

After a minor hiccup with the last release, the gang is back in top form with this one. 90% of the jokes hit their mark and there were fewer dead zones as with Frankenstein. Perfect movie too, like Werewolf, a gift from God. And speaking of God… did my Catholic guilt flare up for laughing so hard? Mmm, yeah, a few times – it was Irreverent but a riot. My review… Blood of the Vampires

Leading up to BOTV coming out I can't honestly say that I was super excited about this episode. That was really because I saw the Titans expertly perform this in Minneapolis last October and since I had already seen the film, I didn't have the same "OMG a new episode I can't wait!" mentality.
But upon popping it in the DVD player, and hearing those riffs again, that wonderful experience came flooding back! The riffing was spot on, and I agree that it has been one of their best releases so far. An absolutely hilarious episode!
Criticisms:
- The Titans really need to sew up their host segments. I want them to continue doing them ( I do need some sort of break from the film), and for the most part I like them, but right now they could be a lot better. I really liked where this one was going, and I loved Frank's ringtone, but then it just kind of fizzled out. A much funnier alternative would have been Frank having his first drink in 20 years and completely reverting back into a drunken slob that has to be restrained by the Titans and the people in charge of the Institute! But to just question how his sponsor could see him take a drink and then the skit just stops? Meh.
- We need better extras than just the trailers. I mean, we can see those on YouTube without any problem. How about some behind the scenes footage on the set or something? Even if it's one of them holding a video camera and filming Trace drinking his coffee I'd be happy! ;D
But again, a solid episode that brought back wonderful memories of the live show. Definitely one people should pick up!

Queenie, I love you dearly, but I must call you on one point: seeing someone fall off the wagon is not funny. (Saw a friend do it. Not good at all.)

Queenie, I love you dearly, but I must call you on one point: seeing someone fall off the wagon is not funny. (Saw a friend do it. Not good at all.) Oh Chuck in real life, obviously not! I would never laugh at someone who was struggling with abuse in a non-fictional context! Now, while I believe that a person is never really "cured" of their addiction (rather they learn how to manage it), I think Frank has shown that he has at least some sense of humor about it. I would never, ever wish Frank any ill in his personal life, and his ability to stay sober is an accomplishment that demands respect. But I mean, in Cartoon Dump, doesn't he play a clinically depressed owl? I wouldn't call someone who's depressed in real life funny either. But for the purposes of a sketch, I don't think there'd be anything wrong with some cartoonish drunkery. I think a lot of comedians use their own pain for comedy, so I think it's somewhat acceptable to make light of those sorts of situations in the right context. I think in this sketch, it would have been in the right context. At least let him punch a window out for Debbie! But this could turn into an entire debate in itself! I just think they needed to so something with that segment, and that alternative came into my head because I thought that's where the sketch was going anyway. I certainly did not mean any offense to anyone. And I love you too Chuck.

Got my DVD. I saw this live in Boston. Much better live of course, but this was still funny.

I mentioned the skit in my review, episode was near perfect aside from that. It felt so off, tentative... aside from not being very funny. (Now Frank's blog on the subject a few months back was great. If you haven't read it, it's very well written)
