LOL, I love how they make it sound like Mystery Science Theater changed its name to MST3K. Last time I checked, an abbreviation is not the same thing as a complete name overhaul.

There is one comment in that NBC article that Sky posted that inspires me to ask something. In the article, the writer invokes MST3K in the channel's defense, but the comment poster says that cancelling MST3K earns the channel scorn from the MST3K fanbase. Are MySTies angry simply because their show was cancelled or are they angry because of the programming that replaced it?

I was angry because the show was canceled. And because they only aired the same handful of episodes for months before it went off the air.
I think they replaced it with additional infomercials.
