Frank's so funny in his self-deprecating way. He does his lines with an air of "Don't worry, I know I'm not an actor; I'm just pretending." One of my all time favorite MST moments – Dr Forester – Push the button. TV’s Frank – I AM the button. . . (Wanders off frame leaving Dr. Forester standing there.) That's one of my favorites too! It amazes me that Frank can constantly make jokes like that, given his own history of addiction, intervention, and recovery, without the self-righteousness, anger, or bitterness that so many comics in recovery seem to have. ("Comics in recovery"? Isn't that the name of a band?) The whole invention exchange conversation between Frank and Forrester when they came up with the Fridge Alert cracks me up every time. The laughter combined with maybe my favorite line, "The whole concept is totally absurd! I mean who would even need this thing? Maybe only Quinn Martin! And he's de-ea-ea-ea-ead!" dissolving into even more laughter, ending in my favorite shot of the whole series. They both get it back together, take a breath and then steal a glance at each other and double over laughing at each other again. In the Poopie out-takes, Frank sure seemed to get the giggles pretty frequently. I wonder if that's what partly inspired the Fridge Alert skits.

During the "ill-advised sports promotion days" invention:
Frank: How about...'Poopie Day'? (snicker!)
Dr. F: (scolding) Poopie day. What, are you gonna give the kids POOP?

That just cracked me up.^^^^^^^
I forget the episode and the exact wording, but he said something like, "And you can see me in, 'Butterflies Are Free'." (at some theater or playhouse or something - help me out here, folks).

"I don't want Colossus and the Headhunters!" when Dr. F is trying to comfort him when "Nummymuffincocobutter" is sent to the SOL.

Frank: (throwing a tantrum) "It's a stupid Mexican kid's movie!"

The ones mentioned are great. Here's one I like. At the end of Fu Manchu, after Frank and Forrester tried riffing the movie, Frank says, "We could have come up with better comments.....but the movie wasn't all that good." LOL, I love when Frank is clueless.

Karoke EUeukaaaaaaYOUUUUU! (However you spell that sound that Frank always makes.)
That mock scream when Frank puts a present through the wish squisher is pretty great too.

I find Frank adorable, and one of his most adorable moments for me is in the Poopie reel, where he misses his cue in the voodoo skit and then apologizes with something like, "oh sorry, I was really into the dancing." That's the sort of moment that makes me think I'd actually like him as a human being. And he dances pretty well, too.
I like his Dennis Hopper bits. I like when he stands up to Dr. F. "I want my money! No! Give me my money!" And I like his fake sympathy in Dr. F's near-death scene, and when he encourages Dr F. to let go and just go toward the light, already. That one always cracks me up.

"I don't fink on Soul Brother." I've always wondered what that was! What's it from? Personally, I've always liked "AND MOST OF THE WORLD!" from "Last of the Wild Horses." The hand gestures sell it for me.

I think it's in the invention exchange of Wild Rebels:
Frank: "EeeeuyaGGU-yuh!" Dr. Forrester: "...What is that noise?" Frank: "It's just a sound. It's a sound I make. That's all." Dr. Forrester: "But you do it all the time! It's about me, isn't it?" Frank: No...
Now that I think of it, Wild Rebels has great Dr. F/Frank interaction:
Dr. F: You might ask yourself why we're dressed that way. Frank: I wonder! Dr. F.: Shut up. We are dressed that way because you made me lose my train of thought and don't you EVER interrupt me again when I'm on a roll!

There's two skits/ segments with Frank that always get me. The first is the Bold Barbecue Sauce bit in Starfighters. The way Frank starts scratching himself and practically drooling, like a junkie jonesing for a fix, as Dr F taste-tests the sauce is a bit creepy but also hilarious. Then there's Frank's hysterical breakdown and confession during the "interrogation" segment in The Dead Talk Back. "Where's my little puppy? My little puppy? Here, Cinnamon! Cinnamon? Here! [smooches] Here, boy!"

"I don't fink on Soul Brother." I've always wondered what that was! What's it from? I think I read somewhere that they were doing some kind of Mod Squad take, one of the characters, Link, said something to that effect, meaning he doesn't rat on his peeps.
