I love Don Dohler flicks. They are cheese like you won't believe. Now I REALLY wish I could attend a show.

The "new" CT Website has a "Show Guide" tab that is really neat. At last we get Joel talking about the films they've chosen!
His take on Alien Factor is very interesting.
Frank's is a riot.

I watched Dohler's Nightbeast last night. CT will have a field day with Alien Factor. Mr. Dohler's stuff is totally riff-worthy.

Witnessed "Alien Factor" last night at the Trocadero in Philly. You will certainly want to own this one when it comes out on DVD.

I finally got this DVD. I had no idea it was from the maker of The Galaxy Invader. I did like the alien with the claw-feet. It really was somewhat effective in making it look other-worldly. Or at least it added suspense, as in- "Will the actor fall off those "stilts" and take a tumble?"
Edit:
"The "new" CT Website has a "Show Guide" tab that is really neat. At last we get Joel talking about the films they've chosen!"
I never noticed that before, at least the in-depth Reviews by the Titans. Great stuff!

I downloaded this today. I think I was spurred a bit by the Olbermann-CT clip. I had reservations above the live nature, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably dl "East Meets Watts" before the weekend is through. I switched from Verizon DSL to TW Roadrunner in Feb. and it took less time to dl the file than to actually watch it.

I have come to conclusion, upon repeated viewings of The Alien Factor, that the Titans (at least with this specific release) have reached the level of the funniest MST3K episodes. The perfect movie, the varied riffs, the pacing of the riffs and the live performance all add to the effect, and makes this their best (IMO) release yet. I'm really digging that song, by that band, performed in that shipping container, so much now that it has stuck in my mind.
"In my HEART" dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum "In my soul" dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum
Has anyone done any research on them?
Don Dohler's movie need more exposure, especially if they're riffed. I have The Galaxy Invader, but i don't know if they could get as good results as they did with TAF.
