Sci-Fi is running a Twilight Zone marathon until Sunday morning.

I own all 5 seasons on DVD of the original series but I still like to watch as much of the Marathon as I can. I hate the cuts made, but it's such better than nothing.

I saw an episode I'd never seen before: The Old Man in the Cave. Kind of odd, usually I see the same episodes every time a marathon comes on.

The Twilight Zone marathons are about the only thing they do right. I love them; it seems like there are always at least a couple episodes I've never seen before.

At least SyFy still has SOME quality programming.

Right on cue, not only an episode that's new to me, but it stars the smuggest fellow around: Adam Chance!

That's pretty awesome of Sci-Fi (i REFUSE to acknowledge their stupid new spelling). I love the Twilight Zone. Sparkly vampires ruined the word "twilight," though.

My favorite is The Obsolete Man. Awesome episode. I have them on DVD but it's hard to resist leaving the marathon on, despite the commercials and cuts.

I watched it all last night. I'd never seen "The Invaders" episode before. Great performance by Agnes Moorehead.
And I'm with Phantom on "The Obsolete Man". Maybe my favorite half hour of television ever.

I'm with you on the Burgess Meredith love, but I've got to go with "Time Enough at Last." Tragedy was a bit rarer than allegory in the Twilight Zone (as I recall), which made that one stand out a bit more than "Obsolete Man" for me.

I can only imagine how cool Friday night must have been for little kids back when the show first aired. Poor little girls hiding their dolls in the closet. "My name is Talky Tina and you'll be sorry."

Other than the classics already mentioned, I'm a pretty big fan of the Howling Man (might be my favorite), The Masks, and one whose title I don't remember, where an old lady won't let anyone in, in case Death tries to get her.
