The NFL is in Preseason Mode, but soon...they'll be playing!
Will the Stealers keep their crown? Will the Cowboys become the elite like they did years ago? Will the Detroit Kittens keep losing? Will the Browns Season go down the toilet? (Like every season) Will the Pats shake-off Spygate? Will the Giants, Eagles, and Redskins fight with the Cowboys for the Division? (IMO-The NFC East is the division to beat).

Will my Eagles be in the mix? How about my Panthers? I'd say both have the talent to be there in the end.

Now that I live in the Carolinas, I have a new local team NOT to root for.
Go Browns! Woof!

What's worse than being a Cubs fan and watching them collapse in August and piss away any playoff hopes? Being a Broncos fan in August and knowing that there's no way in Hades that McDaniels and Orton are going to win 8 games this year.
Oh well. There's always hockey and a fresh start for the Avalan-- DAMMIT!

The Broncos could win 8 games, if Kansas City, San Diego, and Oakland all fell into the sea or something.

The Broncos have won enough games. They don't need to win ANY more...
(this comes from a Browns fan, so...)
File this under strange:
Around 2003 a friend in L.A. who would find clothes for me to wear gave me a Carolina Panthers sweatshirt.
I had forgotten all about it (no, I never wore it), and then I found it at the bottom of my closet as I was packing all my stuff for the move to...you guessed it, a Carolina (South).
I have already promised to give it to a local bartendress I met today, Claudia.
But I'll probably go out to watch the Panthers this Monday night.

We gonna have to work on you, Bix. Indeed we is. Tain't right for a man who has Steve Smith, DeAngelo Williams, AND Jon Beason in his backyard ta pull for any other team. Then again, I can't blame him for being offput by Julius Peppers cap-strangling tactics and "It Is What It Is."

Nice little stadium...

Favre should just retire. He's become a joke, and I'm sick of the sports commentators blaming everyone else on the team for his own incompetence. But hey, it's only been one game, maybe things'll turn around.
A Play by Favre: 1. Get ball. 2. Fade back. 3. Panic when defensive man comes toward him. 4. Run around the backfield like a little bitch. 5. Blindly throw ball. 6. Yell at everyone else when his blind-throw is not caught.

Well, at least you aren't a Lions fan, or a Rams fan(like me).

Well, so far, if the Panthers' starters play in the regular season in ANY way close to the way they've played in the preseason, fans of the team are in for a long season. Ineptitude on both sides of the ball - our special teams are the sole bright spot as a unit, surprisingly (it used to be our worst).
I apparently never realized how important many of our starting players were. We've got quite a few substantial injuries...

Eagles vs. Panthers tomorrow... my two favorite teams. I can't win or lose. But I think the Eagles will take it.

I thought the Eagles would win but I didn't want them to win as big as it looks like they will. Hope the Panthers bounce back quickly.

Looks like the Broncos got some of the Rockies' late-game mojo.
