It's good to see Harmon back. The latest episodes weren't as funny as, say, the last few episodes of season three, but it's a very promising return to form. I look forward to the rest of the season.

tonight i was kind of disappointed to see another goofy parody show - those are really hit and miss with me, but as it turns out, i thought it wasn't bad. troy in the wheelchair was a little over the top, but overall i liked most of it. actually, the part that made me laugh out loud was when jeff realizes starburns doesn't recognize the dave matthews band song - what would you say - i think it was - and starburns was like - "yeah, i know this song from the '90's, i just can't remember who it is - doesn't it go - HEE HAW HAW HEE HEE HAW!" that just cracked me up.and cool to see professor duncan back. and (spoiler) so that's it - pierce is dead? i wonder if there will be more about that, like how it happened, etc. and though i missed most of last week's shows, i am SO glad i didn't miss this:

It is great to see Community back to season 3 levels of awesomeness! The lastest episode that dealt with Pierce's death was sweet. I will miss Donald Glover as he goes onto produce rap music instead of staying with his family on Community. Fingers crossed for more awesome episodes this season and another season.

The last episode was one of the best in Community's history. I'm amazed that they made such a fantastic Pierce episode without Pierce.

since chase and glover are out (i will miss glover much more - hope he'll be back soon), i wonder if this means jonathan banks will be on the show on a regular basis. that would be great.

^I believe he's in every episode this season, sans two... and I think those two were last weeks episode and the first episode.

I've finally been starting to catch up with Community, as I've missed several episodes over the months. The Olympics and everything else threw off my recording schedule (I manually set the record on my DVR instead of telling it to record all new episodes – you know, old school like a guy who grew up using a VCR). I think I'm missing a couple, but I have most of them. I'm so glad Harmon is back this season, you can see his story style coming through. I've gotten as far as the episode right before the new "D&D" episode, which my watching buddy says is epic. Hope to pick up on that one soon. Jonathan Banks is great. His back-and-forth with Abed when Abed is dressed up for that movie premiere is great dialog. Also loved the meow meow beans episode. For a guy who refuses to register with Facebook, I had a blast laughing at those poor sheep at Greendale Good stuff. Good keep up with it now.

insidetv.ew.com/2014/05/09/community-cancelled/i don't know if i'm surprised or not that it got canned. i was hoping when harmon came back that it would get a fair chance. but when my name is earl got cancelled, i learned it didn't matter how good a show was - it could still get knocked off. i was going through a list of shows that made the cut or not tv.msn.com/canceled-or-renewed/photo-gallery/feature/ and some of the most ridiculous shows (imo) got another chance, while ones like commmunity didn't.

I'm terrible sad to see it go. Maybe we can lobby Netflix to do what they did with Arrested Development, so we can give the show the final season it deserves.

I can't believe it survived this long, to be honest. But yeah, it deserved better than it got. And I'm a rather sad excuse for a fan – I'm only halfway through the final season. Sigh.

Dan Harmon had a few thoughts on the cancellation. He seems resigned to the fact that it's over. Kind of sad, but it was a great run. danharmon.tumblr.com/I can't figure out how to link to a specific post, so scroll down if he's had a more recent post.

wow! but you know, i don't know why i'm surprised. the ins and outs of keeping this show on the air is about as entertaining as the show can be itself. i'm glad they get another crack at it.
cool. cool, cool, cool.

Probably gonna sit this one out since I was kind of disappointed with the last two seasons, but it's a cool story and I'm happy for everyone involved

I'll give it a shot. I had never heard of Yahoo Screen, which was once called Yahoo Video (which I've also never heard of), so I was a bit worried this was going to be a pay service like Hulu or Netflix, but that's apparently not the case. Here's a little article that gives a bit of info on the service: www.ibtimes.com/what-yahoo-screen-all-about-streaming-video-service-picked-community-season-6-1616666I can live with that, and I'm glad the budget will remain in place. I'll agree that the loss of Donald Glover was a serious blow. He was so good.
