There's a bar near me (Steve's) that gives away $1000 to whoever correctly predicts the final score of Monday Night Football. Last week, somebody won it and bought the whole bar a drink.
I know it's too late for tonight's game, but leave me a score (and reasons why, if you'd like) before the game on future Mondays. If I like your score, and enter it, and we win, I'll send you 1/3rd of my winnings.
I know you guys trust me...right?
Edit:
I'm going to take the teams' best score so far and add 4 points, so:
Panthers 24 Dallas 38
will be my entry.

When the first touchdown FINALLY occured with just seconds remaining in the 2nd quarter, I knew my prediction was in trouble, hehe.

Just roll some dice or use a Ouija Board, or however you spell ouija...
If I enter and win with your score, we'll split it as stated above.
What do you have to lose?

hmmmmm: Vikings: 35 Packers: 21 I don't really like scores that involve no field goals, but The Great Muta is the only responder. 35 to 21, Vikes, it is. Now, on to the game! BTW- When no one wins, the pool of money goes up. It may be $1200.00 tonight.

*shrug* 35-21 were the first two numbers I thought of. If you want my opinion, with these two teams, I don't see too many field goals being attempted for the game.

I'm intrigued with this thread, as the score came very close to matching my prediction last time let's see here, Jets and Dolphins:
Jets: 24 Dolphins: 17

Thanks for responding Muta.
Just in case anyone else gives me their prediction, please elaborate. How about some reasons, if any, you may have as to why you think the Jets will win 24-17. They don't have to be deep. They could be rolls from 20-sided dice.
By the way, the owner, Steve, was watching at the end of the game. He was the definition of joy, because no one had the winning numbers.

Honestly? I really *don't* know how I choose the numbers I choose. I am not the kind of person who can break down a score and say "Ok, this is why the Jets will score 24 points...". Really, it's just random choosing numbers, which almost worked with the Vikings/Packers game.

Oh man, I *really* hope the Jets can get four more points somehow.....
