East Meets Watts Put this on today - My opinion hasn't changed, there's some killer riffing and a a few sections where I wasn't feeling it. But still a good release. The Sarah and Stud thing was a hoot on its own. Did Sarah die? I saw she was scarred, but then they never mention her again.
Oh and I liked Traces quip about doing more porn when Aldo Ray was talking about what else he would do (other than be a dirty cop). The quip only got a few chuckles from the audience, but it's actually true. Aldo hit on hard times and took roles in porn films (but he kept his pants on, thank God)

Alien Factor Yeah I'm in danger of over-watching it, but it's so damned good. A perfect bad movie matched with perfect riffs.

I need more CT releases, I'm wearing out the 10 I have (I love 'em so) Wasp Woman While there are an obviously large amount of bee related quips, the group really does a good job of branching into other observational areas and offer up a nice mix of jokes. I love the opening quips and it finishes strong. I also dug the scene with the guys driving around with the photo. And you know, I kind of like Mary. Go ahead, make fun. I know she's no model and she has large teeth... but I found her attractive and nice. I'd have dated her

East Meets Watts: After a friend showed me East and Alien Factor to me online, I just had to start buying some CT. So I purchased East Meets Watts first and showed it to my MSTie best friend today.
Oh Lord, the riffing was awesome. The first half hour was really outstanding. Several riffs had us both roaring with laughter. There was only a few spots where the riffing wasn't working for me later in the movie, some was during the final showdown at the castle, but it recovers nicely and ends well.
The synchronized spittake at the first utterance of the N word was awesome. I also loved Joel and Trace trading MST callback riffs and Frank accusing Trace of Pandering, then J Elvis being sorry his riff wasn't a MST callback was great.
I was really impressed with the riffing by J Elvis and Mary Jo, both have come a long way since their MST days. The 5 of them together are a great team.
Favorite Riffs: "The letter said: Meet me at the Gravel Pit in America"- Trace “It’s too bad the Bay Area didn’t have any beautiful locations they could shoot at.”- Joel "Oh S***, he walked right into a Journey Video."- J Elvis "He He He, now they'll never find their handcuff key-DOH!"- J Elvis "You know, when the most interesting thing in your shot is erosion, you may want to move on."- J Elvis "Over there, we can pad out the film more over there."- Frank "I think she missed the “Falling Redneck” sign."- Mary Jo "This is how people get laws named after them."- J Elvis “Chuck E. Cheeses were a lot more violent in the seventies.” -Frank "Seriously? You couldn't afford one extra on the streets?"- Joel "Hello, this is Onstar. Is somebody busting a cap on your ass?"- Frank “You can’t accuse them of glamorizing violence. Or even understanding it,”- J Elivs “I’ve seen better car chases with my nephew’s hot wheels.”- Mary Jo "Uh sir, you just ate a cat turd." J Elvis "I think everyone in this movie is acting without instructions."- Trace "The turkey flies at midnight, What the hell are you talking about!?"- Trace
Overall, this was an awesome release we both enjoyed alot. I'm definatly buying The Alien Factor next, after that...not sure which one to go with next.

Last night I caught Doomsday Machine over at justin.tv and I found it to be good, didn't laugh as hard as I did with East Meets Watts but I enjoyed it.
What a low bugget, sci fi borefest! Ugh! Oh and how the hell does a potential rapist become a crew member in the first place? I laughed so hard when he and the girl he tries to rape get sucked out the airlock and die.
And wow, this movie is like Monster A-Go Go's long lost sibling with that ending that was obviously finished by someone else with different actors. (Not opening their helmuts when they are onboard the other ship gave that away) The footage and the voice overs didn't even come close to matching! Just an awful, awful ending.
I loved Trace's Alice Cooper riff, and J Elvis mocking the movie's ending by replacing himself with a fake Josh complete with space helmut on was just wonderful, loved it.
Favorite Riffs: “Next thing you know they’ll be wearing pants and wanting to vote!”- Mary Jo "Ah, he hits girls like a girl!"- Joel “I’m not saying they’re there to breed, but their chairs have stirrups.”- J. Elvis “I’ll take ‘Things a Rapist Might Say’ for 500, Alex.”- Joel “There’s no Earth for you to be the last man on anymore.”- Trace "It’s like watching someone else watch ‘Manos: The Hands of Fate’” - Frank
So overall, I found Doomsday Machine to be a good, solid effort from The CT crew. This was only the third Cinematic Titanic i've watched, so I'm not in a rush to get the DVD just yet.

I had a friend over to watch Danger on Tiki Island on Friday.
There was much amusement from the two of us as we watched.
I've watched this episode numerous times and it's better everytime.
A great way to spend the evening!

doomsday machine
i have to be fairly upright and awake when i watch this one, because that last bit with danny's stand in and the russian chick in the other spaceship will put me to sleep every time. i really like DM, though. it's a bizarre, ridiculous movie with plenty of riffing material the titans take well advantage of. it just cracks me up every time - how huge that spaceship is - and i think frank pointed out that if they weren't originally planning on taking women along on the mission, why was it stocked with pink towels in the shower? and the ship itself - how many models did they use before settling on one? the barka loungers, too. awesome. and i love that shot of the "astronauts" watching earth blow up with the same expression they would have watching the morning weather report.
santa claus conquers the martians
maybe i'm rushing the holiday season, but i was looking for something to watch while my cable was out and that was the only one that felt right.
honestly, as much as i love CT, i think i prefer the mst version of SCCTM. every time i would hear a line from the movie i would think of the original riff and most of the time it couldn't compare to the the CT version. for me, anyway. not always - this one is fresher with different takes on the material that was often funny. i'm sure i said it after my first viewing, but my favorite riff came from joel, when he commented on the irony that charlie chaplin had to leave the country instead of droppo.
and i know it doesn't matter, but it just drives me crazy that when ringjob and harpo (whoever the bad guys were) kidnap droppo, thinking it is the real santa claus - they don't realize it is droppo!! he's GREEN! he's got things sticking out of his stupid head! martians are STUPID!

legacy of blood
this movie never gets any less weird or disturbing. the riffing is okay, but i think the creepiness of the 'story' overpowers it for me.

I watched Danger on Tiki Island last night for the first time after seeing it live.
I still love the midgets. I'm sorry. But every time they make race car noises when they run by, I just lose it.
"STOP LEANING ON TREES!"
My wife actually watched it with me. She was just impressed that they mentioned Sigmund the Sea Monster and the Banana Splits.

Wasp Woman.
This was an early Christmas present to myself when the Titans had their sale on DVD's. I was going to get Oozing Skull, too, but it's OOP at the moment and only available for download (can't do that on my slow computer). Darn. Those were the only two that I didn't have yet.
Oh, well. I got one of them, at least.
This one, I have to say, made me laugh the most of the studio DVD's.

East meets Watts
I had a hankering for the Stud and Sarah song that I couldn't fight!
A great episode that holds up well after repeat viewings.
The riffs are spot on and the movie is very cheesy but enjoyable.

I have to agree, I held out on this one for a while because of all the negative reviews I read of it, but then I watched it and found it to be hilarious.

East Meets Watts
My first live DVD - and it's such a better format for the guys. I liked the studio episodes, but the energy level in this is miles ahead.

The Alien Factor
Wow... that was an epically bad film - but it felt so honest. It was clearly made with a lot of love and very little anything else.
