It was excessively boring but I did my partiot duty and stuck with it. Close but no cigar. Congrats to Canada.

Definitely the most exciting thing in the Olympics this year. Mrs. Atari came in during overtime and said, "Who's going to win?" I said, "Well, Iginla and Crosby are on the same line. So the safe money is on one of them to win it." 15 seconds later, and I'm a genius.

I'm just not a hockey guy. Listening to the anouncers reminded me of that Simpsons vid you posted? , dude passes to a guy who passes to another guy who passes to another guy who passes... I went to a few Pred games in Nashville and stuck with this, but the sport has never thrilled me. For those who understand the game I gather it was a classic. So I'm happy to hear it lived up to expectations.

Boring? Boring! That was a great game. Well played by both teams. I had hoped for a different outcome but congrats out to the Canadians.

You know you've watched too much MST3K when you are watching video of the celebrations in the streets across Canada, and all you can think of is "This is the personification of every Packers riff from Spider Invasion on a national scale".

I feel sorry for you Americans, the coverage on NBC truly sucked. The coverage on CTV in Canada was awesome. Everything on NBC seemed like it was tape delayed even though the Olympics was in a good time zone this time. But hey, that was one heck of a hockey game. The Americans gave us a good scare and played great but I'm glad about the outcome. I hope some of you will now realize that not all parts of Canada have super cold winters. It was very spring-like during the games, which is pretty normal here.

There was some great stuff and Vancouver obviously was an awesome city to host it.

And I agree with you, the thing I don't like about the US channel coverage of the olympics is they will just show the American athletes then cut away to other events, I would like to see how events finish and who wins not just see the Americans participate and only see the end of it if the Americans are winning.
