well what a sucky week. Watched the Vikes and The Hawks at my bros. The Hawks fell apart after a good opening drive (which they managed to screw up) - The Vikes look flat, Favre had turnovers but the guy at the NFL network was right, they weren't all on him. I've never seen such a group of idiot WRs. That Barian (sp?) is a gutless loser who wont fight for the ball - You're their highest paid WR, get in there and mix it up!
We switched over to the Jets/Pats - at least it's a close game.
On the bad the Titans looked pathetic. On the good, the Packers won (but we need to bring Gado back, he had a good camp in Tennessee, and the Brandon wasn't impressive replacing Grant)

I dunno if they planned it like this or not, but the Texans calling a timeout a split second before the Redskins hit that fieldgoal in overtime.....absolutely brilliant manuever! Probably what got them the win!

^ I thought it totally sucked. Oh yeah, it was an arsehole move, but as I said before, if the coach of the Texans called it because he knew the Redskins kicker was gonna nail that first attempt, it was a damn smart move.

Kubiak was on Shanahan's staff here in Denver for a decade. He learned the time-out trick from Shanahan. What goes around comes around, Mike. Serves him right.

Ya know, a lot of my friends were shocked when the Texans made the Colts their beeotches, but figured it was a fluke. But now they're all starting to think, with the smart move they pulled over the Redskins, the Texans may actually be a threat this year. We shall see.

Well, so far Joe Flacco is looking like garbage. I hope he picks up by the time we play Pitt. The way their defence is playing right now we need to be fully functioning.
Urgh. The Steelers look like they are just gonna grind everyone to dust this season.

I'm glad to see the Cowboys are 0-2. Now if they can just lose 14 more.

My Eagles kicked butt. Go Michael Vick! I had to watch it on a crappy internet feed since my local station didn't carry but Vick looked great.

And the Bears continue to win in spite of themselves.

Dumb ass Packers shot themelves in the foot with penalties and special teams screw ups. And when the hell are they going to get a clue about Brandon Jackson and dump his ass and PICK UP SAMKON GADO! You know what Samkon can do (he was a former player), he had a solid camp in Tennessee. Jesus Green Bay, even if he's lost a step... if he was amputated at the knees, Gado would still be a better back than Jackson.
Teams will just key on Rogers from now on, there's nothing to fear in the GB backfield.
On a sad note - rest in peace George Blanda - I'll never forget the comebacks with the Raiders when I was a kid.

Looking forward to the Eagles vs. Redskins today. Would have been a bit more drama if Kolb was starting but still there is drama aplenty. I like McNabb and wish him much success but not today.... GO EAGLES!
