i remember when you posted pics of them before. wait, you don't know how to post pics. i think it was back when we had the mst social network that you did it. man, i miss that place. i'm surprised i don't hear about reenactment groups around here - you'd think we'd be tripping over them in the south. okay guys, this time, we WIN!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I posted them on the social network. Although I should really check my photobucket...I might have some pictures there.
Yes, the south has tons of reenacting groups. There are a shortage of Yankees, if you can believe that. Everybody wants to be a Confederate.

Yesterday I went to a really, really cool new event in Lombard, IL. It was in a park, and since they had a lake, the US Navy did maneuvers plus during the battle, they came in on boats to support the infantry. I had a friend take pictures for me, since I was in uniform. I had escort duty with President Lincoln. Also before the battle, the narrator for the battle asked me to show the crowd what an infantry soldier would have worn and how to fire a musket, so I got to do that as well. It was a really fun day, but very humid...I drank so much water I'm still going to the bathroom today.
