Not quite sure how well this will work. I'll start up this thread for boasting your video game high scores or other achievements and challenges. Obviously, this isn't going to be very scientific and is largely dependent on users abiding to the honor system. Also, if you knowingly beat another user's high score or your own older high score, quote it in your new post.

I got this high score on Frogger one time, but when I tried to move the game across the street, the battery died and I lost the score.

I beat the Nintendo Power record for 100%-ing Donkey Kong Land back in the old Gameboy days, but never got around to sending in the photo to prove it. That's right, I coulda been in the big leagues.

I only play games nobody cares about anymore Time Pilot '84 - MAME150500 (6/9/10) That's good enough for tenth in the category on Twin Galaxies but I don't have the right setup to submit it. Guess I'll keep practicing until I can do that. EDIT: Just a note on this - I apparently had the setting wrong. I'm definitely not in line to take a shot at the TP84 title. My high score is closer to 89000 by TG standards. Sorry

Yie Ar Kung-Fu - Arcade610,200 (achieved 11/09/10) Incidentally, Plumber, that Endless Attack score looks pretty hard core. Twin Galaxies is tracking scores for it but doesn't have any submissions for it yet. EDIT: Check that, it appears that track is for WiiWare? I don't know my modern generation systems so I probably don't know what I'm talking about Sorry.

Mega Man 10 does have its own leader board. It's just that my high scores don't even scratch some of the leader board's lowest scores, and it would certainly take me a far chunk of time to register a blip on their board.

I hear you. No reason you can't be a trailblazer over at TG, though I haven't played Mega Man since the NES days. One of the greatest series of games for the platform ever, in my opinion. Keep it up. Practice makes perfect!

Okay, I had to look up what that "Twin Galaxies" was that you kept mentioning. I'll keep it in mind, but I don't think I would be able to submit anything to the site because I don't have the means of proving my scores (video recorders, etc.). So, that's why I got wrote the "honor system" thing about this thread; I can't prove or disprove that I got these scores.

Yeah, it takes some work to submit a score for some platforms, but it's pretty doable in most cases. I had to borrow one of those little flip HD video camera for the score I sent in (I hate those cameras, by the way), and half the challenge was properly recording the attempt. It's not everyone's thing, though.
