Just watched Rattlers. This is now one of my favorite CTs , the gang's riffs were awesome, especially about the (lack of) acting ability of the cast. ( minor spoiler warning) Also, the sequence where the main two characters went to Vegas was hilarious. This is also one of my favorites. I noticed something interesting. Frank does a riff on this dvd that Josh did in St Louis. I wonder made them change that up. It's not really a spoiler, but I will put it at the bottom of this message, in case someone doesn't want to read a riff before getting the dvd. Frank speaks the riff: "Buffy St Marie vampire slayer" Josh spoke the riff in St Louis.

Just got it today... I thought it stared off brilliantly, slowed down about half way through -- And the audience was oddly subdued (though they liked the blue jokes). There were some nice lines that had me laughing, that only got a smattering of chuckles from the audience, such as -- Frank’s “Georgia O’Keefe’s Leftovers” - Josh’s quick “Putz/Puts” and Tito Fuentes quip - Joel’s “Now offer me a beverage!” and Mary Jo’s, “I’m scared and my blood sugar’s low”, which had me howling (but maybe that’s just extra funny for diabetics)
It finished up strong and the audience got back into it. Despite the dip in the middle, a good time was had by all... uh, I mean me (I was alone when I watched it, though the voices in my head seemed to enjoy it.)

I showed this to some friends at my birthday gathering on Saturday and it went over very well. I noticed the middle lull, but it wasn't very long, about 10 minutes maybe, but the rest got huge laughs from the room. Definitely one of my new favorites from CT.

I just got my copy today. Finished watching it a few minutes ago. I agree that it started out strong with a bit of a lull in the middle somewhere. But what do you expect with such a bad movie. So the snake guy and photo gal are in the desert.. Go to Vegas then come back and get attacked by snakes. I really hope that the sequel that was eluded to at the end of the movie never got made.. Lots of laughs in all..

Turgid movie yields hit and miss riffing. I enjoyed it but wouldn't rank it as one of their better efforts.

Is this one now OOP? It's the only one I need now, until new ones come out.

The Cinematic Titanic web site isn't selling them; but you may be able to find a copy on Amazon, or Ebay or somewhere like that.

There is nothing on eBay and Amazon says "currently unavailable"

"Rattlers" is back in stock on Amazon as of right now: www.amazon.com/Cinematic-Titanic-LIVE-Joel-Hodgson/dp/B008GWSTWK/It was the last one I was missing as well, so I grabbed a copy right away. It looks like a few other titles were restocked as well. I'm not completely sure because I can't remember which ones were out of stock besides Rattlers.

Better jump on it if you don't have it. Or buy the one on that auction site for eighty bucks.
