Did I hear the voice over that was over the credits correctly? There's only TWO more episodes of the season? What's that - FIVE? That's ridiculous.

I'd rather only have a few brilliant episodes than stretch it out over too many. Loving this so far although I haven't read the comics so can't compare.

Finally checked this show out and, I don't know, I can't say I liked it. It was one of those things where, while watching it, I really felt like I should like it, but for some reason I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it has something to do with a recent conversation with a friend of mine about how all zombies should have chainsaws and jetpacks.

I've watched to first three so far and have enjoyed them. Seems like an easy premise for a tv series with ample opportunity to move characters in and out of the show.

The last episode was great. I can't wait for the new season!

I agree. I think it has been very well done so far. Between now and the next season I need to catch up on the comics. The plot lines already established in what I have read of the comics, and the additional elements the show has provided, are making for a series with many interesting possibilities. It seems AMC keeps on laying golden eggs.

They should kill off more characters next season and change the name of the show to Darrell.

"Suck it reality shows" indeed! Glad to hear its been a big hit.
I was surprised to find the lead actor is British. No way I'd have ever guessed that. He's got the Georgia cracker accent nailed.

Watched the entire first season on Blu-Ray. I was going to watch it as it aired, but I only got around to the first episode.
I greatly enjoyed the first three episodes. The last three were kind of limp and uneventful in my opinion. Maybe I was just disappointed that the series digressed away from storylines it had set up in favor of different, uninteresting ones, but it kind of sucks knowing that I'll have to wait until at least next season to know what happened to Dixon or the family in the first episode, if at all. I didn't expect closure, but cutting ends and leaving them behind in a six episode season is kind of poor storytelling. Especially when the finale was so boring.
That said, I greatly enjoyed the show so far and the continuing cliffhanger format intrigues me. Kind of like combining Lost or Battlestar Galactica, which concludes the episodes story while building up a story for the future, with that of a old serial, where we have to tune in weekly to see what happens to our heroes next. Great cast of likable characters, and the acting is fantastic. I'll definitely be watching season 2.

I'm kind of pissed they dumped Darabont. Hopefully it's still a good show, but I'm weary of it.

I remain hopeful despite the heartfelt loss. Prove me wrong, children, prove me wrong.

I watched episode six last night to remind me where it ended last season. Think I read this season will have 13 episodes. Too lazy to confirm.
EDIT: All I had to do was look further up this thread to see there will be 13. I'm not THAT lazy.
