You folks have included a lot of good names. I'll comment on a few of the recently added. This is a creative addition I can appreciate. I enthusiastically added Keith David, in spite of the fact that I don't think he's ever played a film lead or seems to be recognized amongst the Hollywood elite. Ironside is something of a B-movie staple, I suppose, and that is something that can be appreciated by this crowd. Like David, he gives a performance that shines through even the darkest of films. Um, unless you can name a James Woods vehicle that I might possibly like, I would be forced to say that Woods is a character I tend to stay away from. Ha ha. No. It's scary how Goodman that function in both oafish roles like Fred Flintstone and King Ralph, and yet is frequently utilized by the Coen Brothers to play psychotic and violent characters in their black comedies.

I didn't know we were submitting these for your approval. Oops. I didn't mean to offend. We're all privy to our own opinions and I liked some of your choices, but I just had difficulty understanding some of the choices. Please don't take offense.

Not taking offense, I just didn't expect to be tasked with making a case for any of my choices. If I had to though, here goes:
I thought Uma Thurman was great in Pulp Fiction, The Kill Bill movies, Gattaca, and The Truth About Cats and Dogs.
As far as James Woods goes, I honestly think his work speaks for itself. I find he has a magnetic quality when his is on screen, that often heightens the material he is playing. Goofy movies like Vampires and Diggstown are good examples. And then there is his work in Casino, Another Day In Paradise, and Salvador. Oh, yeah, he also did a movie called Cop that I like a good deal. He was also in one of my all time favorite horror films, Videodrome. And he gave one hell of a performance in the HBO movie Indictment: The McMartin Trial.

Ah, okay. As far as Thurman, it's very hard to sell her to me a la Quentin Tarantino. And outside of Tarantino, when I think of Thurman, I think Paycheck and Batman and Robin. So, eventually, I'll try to check out those other titles.
Woods kind of suffers from the same thing for me. He stars in films I don't care for like Contact, John Q, Final Fantasy, and The Specialist. So, again, I'll have to check out other titles.

As far as Thurman, it's very hard to sell her to me a la Quentin Tarantino. It's perfectly okay to be wrong sometimes. Uma is like a female Samuel Jackson, she's just plain cool, and always fun to watch.

A few character actors most people have never heard of that I think are amazing:
Royal Dano John Anderson John Lormer Michael Parks Tim O'Connor
I'm also a big William Daniels ("The Graduate," "The President's Analyst," "St. Elsewhere.") fan.
