Nor ANY Cleveland Sports Team for that matter! But The Cavs ARE the worst team in the NBA Right now and this time...I'll admit...It WASN'T 's Fault (It was 50%). Granted, we wanted him to stay...but we should've signed an extension for Shaq and the other good guys, we should've gotten a good player from College, we should've had some good trades, but nooooo...we HAVE to be in the Cellar! The Cavs don't belong in the NBA now...they should play in the D-Leagues! And if you watch Semi-Pro...that your 2010-2011 Cleveland Cavs. THE CLEVELAND CURSE STILL LIVES!!!

Would it be possible for you to give it a rest, seriously? You bitch left and right when your teams suck, and they have consistently. Yet, you're curiously absent when they win. The Browns, despite a hollow season at the end, did beat the Saints and the Patriots in consecutive weeks. Where the hell were you then? Unable to bitch about your teams sucking? Unwilling to see that it's not all bad? It's getting old.

All my friends who are Cubs fans have it worse. As they should. They're baby bears! And they wear blue! That's just wrong.

Since this seems like it might serve as an all around whiny-sports-stuff thread, I'll enter my biggest crybaby whine. With the #1 pick in the 1984 draft the Portland Trailblazers select... SAM BOWIE. Most of us were pretty well over that until we got the first pick in the 2007 draft. Even with that^^ harsh lesson I never heard one person say they'd choose Durant over Oden, myself included. Now, as time passes with Odie in street-clothes and Durant soaring, the unthinkable seems to be repeating. Knees bad.

Actually, Bowie was the #2 pick in the draft. The Rockets took Olajuwan with the first pick. Nobody really faulted them for that. Of course, if you want to second guess drafts, every team in every major sport in America probably has at least one story like that.

Right, 2nd. Skipped over Jordan with the 2nd choice. if you want to second guess drafts, every team in every major sport in America probably has at least one story like that. Uh, no. Very few have a story to equal that. I remember FSN doing a sports blunders countdown, and this was on there. I think it was the only draft pick that made the countdown.

I was thinking more of comparing Bowie/Jordan to Oden/Durant. If you want to make it something where you can adjust the goalposts such that "oh well he wasn't good enough for this comparison" then it's foolish to even make the comparison at all. My point is that every team in all American major sports leagues probably has a serious draft misfire in its past. That it's not as significant as passing on Michael Jordan or on Barry Sanders or on Dan Marino isn't really material.

What about picking Ryan Leaf over Peyton Manning?

To be fair, I had this same thought but then remembered Manning was the top pick, then Ryan Leaf. However, the Bolts did miss out on some guys named Charles Woodson, Randy Moss, Fred Taylor and Takeo Spikes, among others. No idea of what their positional needs were then beyond QB, but some of those guys have/had decent careers.

(Granted, we DID have that 2-game winning streak, but Cleveland knows how to lose better than win)! The winters suck, our sports teams are at an all-time low (And YES...The Cavs have hit an all-time low in the NBA), and we haven't had high hopes since 2001! So...STFU and Drink your coffee...at least The Stealers know that Crime doesn't pay! And...DON'T Feed The Troll!
