Would it be possible for you to give it a rest, seriously? You bitch left and right when your teams suck, and they have consistently. Yet, you're curiously absent when they win. The Browns, despite a hollow season at the end, did beat the Saints and the Patriots in consecutive weeks. Where the hell were you then? Unable to bitch about your teams sucking? Unwilling to see that it's not all bad? It's getting old. I'm guessing you've NEVER been to Cleveland!...A Clevelander has EVERY right to bitch about our teams! (Granted, we DID have that 2-game winning streak, but Cleveland knows how to lose better than win)! The winters suck, our sports teams are at an all-time low (And YES...The Cavs have hit an all-time low in the NBA), and we haven't had high hopes since 2001! So...STFU and Drink your coffee...at least The Stealers know that Crime doesn't pay! And...DON'T Feed The Troll! I don't dispute your right to bitch, but that doesn't mean it gets any less old to other sports fans. I am specifically referring to myself, yet I suspect others are weary as well (I have no definitive proof that I'm the only one). The simple fact that you always type Stealers instead of Steelers is just weak. Sure, the team has gotten lucky with bad officiating and you know, luck; but it's beyond iffy that they did anything wrong to suggest they stole anything. If you have such issues with both the city and its teams I have some advice: move, and bail on those teams. Bitching is normal and fine for fans, but you (in my opinion and mine only) are stretching it to points that are unreasonable.

(But I can't because I have family and friends here)! Cleveland Sports just seemed to hit a NEW Low in my life (and I'm only 28)! You'd probably be VERY depressed if your city didn't have a Championship since 1964 and its future is EXTREMELY dim. I might as well see a Fortune-Teller and ask her if I should leave Cleveland and is the city cursed?

You still have nothing on the Cubs.

Okay, I'll admit...2010 was NOT the best year in Cleveland Sports, we fired ALL our coaches in the span of 15 months! And when your city is hungry for a Championship for 47 years and counting...you get REAL upset.
Cleveland has the worst deficit in Pro Sports. Here's how it goes....
1965-1970 (Indians and Browns)...12 1970-1976 (Indians, Browns, and Cavs)...14 1976-1978 (Indians, Browns, Cavs, and Barons)...8 1978-1995 (Indians, Browns, and Cavs)...51 1996-1998 (Indians and Cavs)...6 1999-Present (Indians, Browns, and Cavs)...36
10 14 8 51 6 36=...127!
Philadelphia had a 25-Year Deficit, equaling to 100. And Chicago has Da Bulls, Da Bears, Da Sox, and Da Hawks...but for the Cubs...It's 102 and Counting!...And now The Cavs are being joked on twitter! That's what happens when you can't win 26 times!

We have no pro teams. I can't get a decent hockey or basketball game without a day-long drive.
My entire state is obsessed with a mediocre college football team. Or bitching about the moving of the stadium for the crappy farm team of the crappy Royals, which nobody is a fan of anyway.

How do you survive without professional sports?

Something about this thread makes me want to post this for some reason.
This one, too.

I watched both of those games and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I drive 3 hours a few times a year to watch hockey. Our semipro football team (Carolina Panthers) is about a 6 or 7 Hour drive. Too long for me. Had a friend with season tickets who made that drive to every home hockey game.

That's not too shabby. My closest option is KC, which is about 3-4 hours, but the Stars suck, I don't care about the Chiefs or Royals, and there's no NBA team. Otherwise, I'm looking at eight-hour-plus hauls to Denver, Chicago, or Minneapolis.
The only pro game I've ever been to was a L.A. Kings games back in the Gretzky era.

That's the problem with most Pro-Sports today...
No one wants Cleveland, Kansas City, or Buffalo to win it all.
But with Cleveland...they ALWAYS get the short-end of the stick.
But hey...I was watching "Semi-Pro" when The Cavs broke their winning streak, it almost looked like there was going to be a riot going on.

That must've been rough all those years that Cleveland was the talk of the NBA and was on TNT or ESPN every other week while other small markets were more or less ignored nationally. But hey, that was year ago!
