I used to see Sven occasionally, coming out of a Charlotte station. Check out the movie American Scary (Netflix) for an overview of many local horror hosts. I grew up with Big Chuck & Hoolihan coming out of Cleveland. Lots of their old comedy bits are on Utube.

I just received my Svengoolie e-mail with the monthly schedule. Scheduled for July the 13th is Beginning of the End. Will defiantly have to check that out.

I just saw the episode from last week, "The Begining of the End". I'm wondering how they were able to show that on MeTV being that it didn't appear to be a Universal movie.
The copy they used was a pretty poor print, but it was really fun. It's not one of my favorite MST episodes, so I was surprised that when the female lead gets back into her car, I just heard in my head Tom Servo's voice saying "Well back at it DAAAH, DAHHH, DAAAAAH, DAH, DAH (imitating Albert Glasser's overbearing and uncalled for score to the car approaching the roadblock)" and laughed my butt off.
As usual Sven gave his usual cast and crew "familiar faces" and his usually corny jokes. I have to say I am SO glad to have Sven on MeTV. Even though these are movies I could easily aquire on DVD, it is still fun to see them with the horror movie host treatment.
A couple weeks ago, I was overjoyed when I saw King Kong Escapes had played and my DVR had caught it. I have the movie in Japanese with English subs, but again, it was fun to see it on Svengoolie. I had forgotten that the American rights were still owned by Universal. Maybe that means there's hope to see King Kong vs. Godzilla on Sven soon, maybe next year to tie in with the new movie.

I do not know how many of you have seen this. The "Svengoolie Stomp" with Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon & Svengoolie. It was first shown earlier this month or perhaps late last month. Pretty popular and requested from what I hear. But the most important thing is the cameo appearance of Trace Beaulieu & TV's Frank.. Enjoy won't you?
