Thanks for the input, Cornjobhelper & dph... As with all things MST3k & Rifftrax related, its not if i'm going to buy it, but when... I may hold off another weekend, cause I still need to get through the Gamera box set. Sky, if you get around to watching it this weekend or sometime soon, I'd love to hear your input on this VOD riff...
I love the Rifftrax guys of course, but sometimes it seems like the bigger the movie that they are handling, the bigger they drop the ball. I mean, we ALL wanted to see what Rifftrax or Cinematic Titanic would do with this long-awaited Don Dohler classic. Maybe they thought--like most Dohler movies--that the movie would carry the funny on its own and they didn't have to try as hard. But if you've seen CT's Alien Factor, you realize how great it can be when you combine solid riffing and a laughable Dohler flick. I mean, even the endless walking scenes in Alien Factor have some great riffs. I think Mike and the guys are stretched way too thin trying to do these classic crap movies and the big budget movies. I personally wish they'd rise to the occasion on stuff like this and save the weaker riffing for Transformers 12. Oh well...
...again... none of this matters, because I WILL buy it. So, they get my money regardless...

I really hope they put this out on DVD. That and the Crater Lake Monster and Birdemic. I just dont do the Video on demand and I would love to have these in my collection They now provide an iso file for the pre-mixed ones like this and Crater Lake Monster (and don't miss The Devil's Hand) that can be burnt to disc by multiple free pieces of software and then watched on any regular DVD player. I actually always download the ISOs and then watch them directly with VLC, which opens them just fine. (I have a PC hooked up to my main TV).
