This may be blasphemy, but I preferred Shemp.

This may be blasphemy, but I preferred Shemp. And thy lord CURLY HOWARD damned thee to HELL where he will be tortured for all eternity...by watching Amos 'n' Andy nonstop.

This may be blasphemy, but I preferred Shemp. I'm not surprised. And it just occurred to me that pronto is a funny word, but not hilarious.

This may be blasphemy, but I preferred Shemp. Well, this explains everything.

Curly always seemed to me to be a smart man playing an imbecile, where Shemp seemed truly stupid.

You realize you're analyzing The Three Stooges, right?

Curly always seemed to me to be a smart man playing an imbecile, where Shemp seemed truly stupid. So you're saying you find him relatable?

There's something off about the body language of a smart man trying to play dumb. . .like a teenager in an after school special that's never had a drink trying to act drunk. It's enough of a disconnect where it jars my suspension of disbelief. Shemp, even though he mugged for the camera as much as Curly (admittedly with less whoo whoo whoo whoops) really seemed to be dense. That keeps the suspension of disbelief intact for me. Although my real favorite Stooge is Moe. I admire a man more often pissed off and frustrated than me.

I admired all the Howard brothers for various reasons. But I've already gone very much in depth with that in my link above.
Sadly I've been meaning to update for a while, but my computer's being repaired and all my work is on it.

I admire a man more often pissed off and frustrated than me. Mitchell's Heroes1. Dante from "Clerks" 2. Glenn Beck 3. Mummi trying to open a jar of pickles.

You realize you're analyzing The Three Stooges, right? *cough*I really meant for Mitchell to do something like that was quite unnatural.

Would that even be acting or just behaving on camera?
