It's probably like that one Star Trek episode, if you ever meet outside the inter-dimensional doorway the entire board will be annihilated.
That's a nice area. I've mostly lived over in the Central Valley.
Anyway, I'll clear the channel and await the next batch of covers. I keep trying to pick a recent favorite, but it tends to be whichever I've seen last. Might be Warrior of the Lost World, though. Very dramatic.

That's a good choice. You just can't go wrong with Megaweapon. Here we are with the Joel/Mike changeover. 511 - Gunslinger -same as before, based on the guy that sleeps in the hallway. Roger Corman, you suck. 512 - Mitchell -same as before, but now we get to see the full glory of the Lincoln. Bye Bye Joel, hello Mike. 513 - the Brain that Wouldn't Die -Basically the same as before, inspired by Hollywood cliche of a man stumbling around a city at night with floating signs flying by. After a joke from Don Quixote, I dropped the brothel sign. You just don't see many of those in the US.

The George Lucas remastered version of Santa Claus would be great. Nooooooooooooo Lupita! 520 - Radar Secret Service -Same as before. I think this movie might be about radar. 521 - Santa Claus -Same, based on a creepy Santa painting someone posted last year, and Edvard Munch's The Scream. 522 - Teenage Crime Wave -Again the same, an ode to doughy guys. I love the movie still on the back. It's like an alternate history where Jack Ruby misses his target.

523 - Village of the Giants-Same as before, the Endless Summer Poster. I think this movie would have been a lot of fun if Russ Meyer had made it, or almost any director other than Bert Gordon. 524 - 12 to the Moon-Similar to before, but this time in color, like Rat Patrol. Also, Nuveena! 525 - Girls Town-Same as before. My original plan was to make a whole town out of the bathroom sign woman. After one house, I gave up. It gave me a whole new respect for Georges-Pierre Seurat.

602 - Invasion USA -Same as before, Ivan Comes Marching: the Soviet States of America. I think I've got a movie title on my hands. Apparently, all I need now is a seedy bar, a hypno coin, and a ton of stock footage. 603 - the Dead Talk Back -Same as before, inspired by the countdown to the girl's death, and based on Hubert Farnsworth's greatest invention. I think it's some sort of death clock. This cover has the odd distinction of not having any sort of poster or promotional material on the back. This movie simply doesn't exist, and it's amazing that the Brains ever got hold of it. 604 - Zombie Nightmare -Finally, something new in a huge block of sameness; I tried to copy the original Dawn of the dead poster with this one. If you told me the story of this film, and then told me it would star Adam West and a young Tia Carrere, I'd think it would be an awesome movie. I would be wrong.

This cover has the odd distinction of not having any sort of poster or promotional material on the back. I love your solution to that. More great work.

^Thanks. I thought about making my own poster, but that would be cheating. These three are all rather boring. I feel like throwing in some random artwork just to spice things up. 605 - Colossus and the Head Hunters-Same as before, based on our hero's name, with bonus Nummy Muffin Coocol Butter. I love how the movie's dubbed, and yet the title still isn't the correct name. At least it's not Sinbad this time. 606 - the Creeping Terror-Similar to before, but with new carpet samples! The director of this movie really had a fetish for nylon clad legs. It's a shame he had to waste so much time on the monster. 607 - Bloodlust-Same as before, I was going for a generic book jacket with this one. Has there ever been a good movie based on the Most Dangerous Game? The best adaptation I can think of was an episode of American Dad, which wasn't exactly a drama.

Kline! 611 - Last of the Wild Horses-Same as before. I couldn't come up with anything for this, so I used the best looking piece of horse art I found. 612 - the Starfighters-almost the same. I added a shadow under the plane to simulate flight, and the plane is an actual starfighter this time around. 613 - the Sinister Urge-same, based on the Tonight Show. The talk show scene is one of my favorites in MST. I can't imagine staging a shot like that for a film.

My airport, my way... 614 - San Francisco International-Same as before, nothing special about this one 615 - Kitten with a Whip-same as before, based on a Gemma Atkinson photo shoot, and inspired by a line in the movie. 616 - Racket Girls-Same as before (just a copy and paste), based on the poster for the Wrestler. I wanted to redo this one with a higher resolution photo, but I couldn't find anything that would work with The Wrestler theme. It didn't help that 99% of women wrestling pictures are porn.

I'm Cherokee Jack! 617 - the Sword and the Dragon-same as before. This is a piece of Russian art based on Kieven Rus mythology, yet it's not Ilya Muromets. It's a contemporary of his named Dobrynya Nikitich, who actually did fight a dragon in the legend. 618 - High School Big Shot-Same as before. Marv is depressing and stupid 619 - Red Zone Cuba-This is new, because I couldn't find the old photo. It came out looking like a 90's action movie poster, it just needs an awful tagline. "A Penny. A Broken Cigarette. Now Run to Hell"

608 - Code Name Diamond Head-same as before, and a bit meta. The guys make a number of riffs on how the scenery in the "movie" looks like Anytown USA, despite being filmed on location. I tried to think of a recognizable area that looks most unlike Honolulu, and Harlem came to mind. That's great! I've always wondered why they decided to shot a TV show based in Honolulu at Sand Island and then face the cameras away from the Koolau Mountain Range. Why show the landscape when we can face the ocean and shoot the blue skies? That proves we're in Hawai'i, right? You just had to know I was going to respond to this. ;D

Either of you familiar with Firesign Theatre? It reminds me of one of their albums were a character who has invented a time machine leaps out and cries, "I've done it! I'm just back from ancient Greece! Look at this grape!"
Oh, and I really like the Sword and the Dragon cover. If there's one thing the Soviets did well, it was bloated Realist art.
