Yeah, that was nice. I've seen a few tributes like that from other, less-famous sources. Conan did an announcement the day it broke, which was obviously a heavy moment for him, the guests and the studio audience. Worth looking up if you haven't seen it. Then there was this. i watch it on demand when i remember to.
thanks for posting those tweets, mod - very touching. i can't imagine what that would feel like, to have to follow williams. norm can be a funny guy (favorite role: li'l chubby on earl), but what he wrote was very sad and sweet.

Absolutely.... I was never a Norm McDonald fan. I loved him playing Death on Family Guy, but other than that not much admiration...

get ready to conform! more retro ads! these old ads never fail to crack me up. yes, men hate the sight of a skinny dame headed towards them. beat it! here she comes! and look at the illustrations of said "skinny dame." she looks like a walking cadaver, fresh out of a concentration camp. you're gorgeous since you've gained weight! thank you, mr. roarke! i have you and ironized yeast to thank for it!  my life is complete now. best ad ever, sucka.  oh, children? one more thing - RUN!! yes, yes. i remember when i gave MY mother a mop bucket for christmas. her eyes did gleam. WITH MURDEROUS INTENT.
and to add insult to injury - it wasn't a gift from one person - THE WHOLE FAMILY chipped in for it. you know what betty is now? that's right, diabetic. what better way to say "i'm high maintenance!" than with a wiglet? yeah, i got nothing. i know this isn't an ad (at least i hope it's not) - i just couldn't resist. the armhole test. all i can say is i hope she has a good, reliable, disinfecting douche. ladies, please. if you are considering learning the ukulele to charm a man, save your $5.50. at this point, just cut to binding his hand and feet now.  wtf?? was this once really a thing? who was it who finally thought - maybe we should put up a few walls around this here toilet? were they just out in the living room or something? thanks to our zundel toilet chair, we have an extra place for guests to...uh...sit, while entertaining! aim high, sista! for those days when leaving the couch is absolutely out of the question. or put all smutty stories, suggestive pictures and unclean thoughts in this blog.

this is the coolest, sweetest thing i've seen in a while. anything with jack white, but damn, those kids made me leak ocular fluid. he's interviewed for the first two minutes, ron "bumblefoot" (really?) thai is next. there is a cringe worthy moment when old bumblefoot lives up to his name when he tells the kid in the wheelchair he can hardly walk (because he's clumsy). other than that, good watchin.' and jack is hoooooot.
