This is what makes television great! What more could you possible want in a film? Enough said!

SHARKNADO is da BOMB! I liked it! Mia Farrow liked it! A new social sensation is born! Discussed on "The Today Show," "Inside Edition," and at length on "Opie and Anthony" radio. Those are the three I saw/heard. Surely there were countless others. A follow-up is rumored to be in the works.
What script? They wrote this sucker on the fly. Over the top action and acting. Roaring to calm seas in five seconds, same with sun/rain and day/night. Larry Buchanan would be proud. Our 90210 hero wielding a shotgun and chainsaw while fighting flying sharks. Tara Reid phoning it in. Dad from "Home Alone" watching his career hit below the bottom of rock.
The exciting nursing home pool shark escape reminded me of the escapes from Bela and Vampira in "Plan 9." Just too much cheese to recall. And the ending blew my little pea brain. Now my head hurts.

A tease on "Good Morning America" this morning was "Sharknado... is it the best worst movie ever?" I didn't stick around for answer but had a nice laugh. Whoever posed that question must be a bad movie virgin!

I don't get the SyFy Channel, which is sad, 'cause I've been following this movie for almost a year.

I don't know what the hell is going on with this movie, or what separates it from the other SyFy dreck, but it is everywhere. I keep hearing about it, and my better half even insisted on recording it so we can check it out. Did this director sell his soul to the devil? Major mainstream releases don't get this kind of media attention.

I don't get the SyFy Channel, which is sad, 'cause I've been following this movie for almost a year. Its getting a DVD release in September. That was already in the works prior to Thursday's debut. Syfy has so many commercials. I'll watch it again without interruption.

How did they know the sharks needed to be in a nursing home?

i also Loved it as well. i am honestly shocked on how much publicity it's getting. and if you don't have syfy you honestly aren't missing anything. yes they have Haven. and that's about it. and films like Sharknado but the channel sucks ass now. it used to be an actually kick ass chanell. that changed in (2003) when the president stepped down and they got a new one.

No, it's not on again (yet, though the new one is coming out soon) just thought I'd mention what I recently read: They actually did an Archie Comic, "Archie vs. Sharknado". Wow. Who'da thunk a cheesy SyFy movie would become so popular in, well, pop culture.
