I failed to make a pick in time, but it was Seahawks 27-21. I did not expect this.

I saw this in a dream last night... seriously. I saw a lop sided win.
I don't know if Denver faced a defense like this in 2013.
Sorry Mr. A. Your Broncs had a great year, I know it's tough to see it end like that.
But it's a sweet time in town tonight, we finally did it and did it decisively, on all phases. Party on Seattle. I am soooooo happy right now.

I love me a good defense and this Seattle defense is damn impressive. Congratulations Mighty Jack and to all Seahawks fans. You definitely deserved the Lombardi Trophy.

I missed most of the game due to work but was able to rush home for the fourth quarter...only to find the Broncos bleeding out 35 points. I was rooting for the Seahawks but I was hoping for an actual football game first and foremost.
Although it was amusing to read the predictions in this thread afterward. You guys were waaaaaaaaaaay off.

Of all the possible outcomes, that was one I never expected. The Broncos are a much better team than they showed today, but the Seahawks showed they are much better than the Broncos, period. All of my fellow Broncos fans at our party started riffing the game by the middle of the 2nd quarter. It was the only way to survive the horror. Kinda like Monster A-Go Go.

Yeah, everyone here wondered if Manning would play like Elway. We just hoped it was going to be Elway in the '90s Super Bowls, not Elway in the '80s Super Bowls.

That was a surprise. I actually thought that Seattle would win, I saw their defense pummel the Saints and then their offense showed quick score capabilities against the 49ers. I didn't expect a rout though.

Well as a 52 year old Seahawks fan who remembers their inaugural season during the bicentennial year of 1976. I say woo who.. Seahawks.. Seahawks win the Super Bowl. It was also very sweet the they smashed, humiliated and just plain beat down an old AFC West foe. Got tired of hearing about John Elway's speech about him saying "Never Again" after the Seahawks did the same thing to the Broncos in the preseason. Well preseason game or the Super Bowl.. Same type of beat down...

Yeah my family and I were there when they started as well. I kept my mouth shut this week. No wagering, no predictions, no smack talk. I kept my head down and my opinions to myself. I was in "no jinx mode". But in my mind as I listened to the experts on radio and TV I thought... "People, this is the best defense in the league, who played in the conference with the best defenses in the league - in the division with the best defenses in the league. Where even the weakest team (the sack specialist Rams) could still smack you in the teeth)." Manning and the Broncos played against the NFC least in the reg season, they didn't go against the Hawks, the Niners, the Cards, the Saints or the Panthers. The Seahawks did -- the final 4 games were all against strong defenses. They were battle tested. The Broncos on the other hand had not faced a defense of the Hawks caliber. I will say, the Broncos were ready for Lynch. Aside from the TD run, Marshawn didn't push many guys backwards as he usually does, Denver stuck him pretty well. But Wilson had little pressure, the receivers broke free, Harvin was an X factor. And the Seahawks D disrupted Manning's play, kept him off balance. And when Denver got a spark of life and would mount a drive, we'd tighten up and get the turnover. That one from Malcolm Smith was a back breaker because it turned what could have potentially been a 7 to 15 game, into one that was 22 to 0. I'm, so proud of these guys. Seattle fans been waiting since 1976 and to get it against the leagues top offense and one of the NLFs greatest QBs makes it even better. I love how the Space Needle was lit up with the team colors, and the excitement was contagious. I couldn't sleep for hours. We just kept watching highlights and interviews and talking about it all night long.
