I know I'm a little late in weighing in, but here's the information on the 3 episodes that were riffed live but don't have a corresponding DVD. Sampson and The Seven Miracles ran into licensing issues, and was only riffed once live, I believe. No recordings (officially) were ever made of Doll Squad or Astral Factor (which is a shame, because Astral Factor was one of my favorites and I only got to see it live ONCE!) No plans are in place (and I personally don't think there ever will be) of riffing the last two movies in a studio environment for distribution. But never say never, right? RAD Thanks for the info on SAMPSON AND THE SEVEN MIRACLES, that was the one I was always very curious about/didn't get to see. ASTRAL FACTOR and RATTLERS were two films from a list of suggestions I sent to Joel that CT ended up using, so hearing ASTRAL FACTOR is unlikely to get released is a real bummer They knocked that one out of the park! Meanwhile RiffTrax is broadcast-riffing SHARKNADO in theaters nationwide this summer. And sure enough, it won't be 1/10th as funny as DOLL SQUAD was. ::sigh::

Something called TVduck.com claims to be able to stream video of the CT version of Sampson. McAfee labels the site suspicious, so I'm not clicking on anything there and don't recommend that others do so either. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it. Perhaps there is video of this floating around then? If not, seems bizarre that a website would create a hoax over a video of little interest to the gen pop.

Spurious purveyors of streamable or downloadable videos don't require much overhead to produce a page which purports to offer something, but requires layers of registration and sitting through a cavalcade of interminable adverts and popups. As a result, they often have a very low threshold for the amount of requests sent through search engines for them to generate a page which offers to provide exactly what you want. Many of them generate such pages on–the–fly, simply as a result of a search query! Indeed, I wouldn't doubt that they pay Google or whoever else for the privilege of receiving your search data. Videos, books, instruction manuals — that last one is a big thing, really cluttering up the search results and hiding the providers which look like they might actually have the thing.
