In the same vein as kayleigh’s “Leech Woman” thread, I thought I’d start a thread on an episode that I consider to be underrated. The movie has that cool combination of being watchable and goofy, the riffs are wonderful (my favorite being “Well, you messed up the Manson case for us; that was NOT good!”), and the host segments are typical early Season Eight. So, who else loves this great episode?

I just watched that one tonight and I enjoyed it. Plenty of good riffs, including the milk jokes as well as the typical werewolf jokes I loved similar to the other Werewolf movie they riffed. I think my favorite parts were when they met the girlfriend's parents and pretty much any time the MST3K cast would sing a song to make fun of the movie. The movie itself was also pretty funny in the typical cheesy fashion; though I thought that part where it showed the girl looking at the werewolf upside-down was hilarious. The director was probably like, "I really want to put the audience in her shoes - er, slippers!"

I first saw that flick on the Saturday night "Creature Feature" back in the '70s, and thought it was goofy as hell, what with Michael Landon and all those 35 year-old high-school kids.
Still, for some reason, the MST3K version didn't quite set my ass on fire like I'd hoped, so it hasn't been in my "main rotation" for a while. I've seen it a few times since then, and thought it was just OK. I guess I ought to put it on my list of episodes to pull off the backup pile, have a couple of tokes, and watch again.
While it didn't totally knock me out, I loved all the riffs about "Highway To Heaven", "Bonanza", and "that bed-wetting movie" whenever Landon was on the screen.
